Hi guys, I've started a new thread for FIFA 20 for Stadiums we think should be added to the game and for all of the remaining issues with current stadiums in-game that still haven't been addressed. Please keep this thread for realistic requests of Stadiums that should be in FIFA and not for personal wish lists. (Also no point naming PL, La Liga or Bundesliga stadiums to be added as they will all be in FIFA 20). Now EA have the UEFA license they really need to start adding Stadiums for all Champions League regulars to improve the authenticity.

General

* LED ad boards should be added, where they are in real life.
* Bring back the tunnel view before the game at half time or even after the game.
* Stadium exterior is good but its unrealistic its shown that often. In reality you see the stadiums from a heli-cam only before big and important games.
* Surroundings of the stadiums are mostly 2D which is poor on todays hardware.
* 3D instead of 2D stairs in the stadiums.
* Lighting and shadows in the most stadiums have to be redone since the sun seems to have a wrong position.
* A lot of stadia still look grey and lifeless (upper tiers of the Nou Camp, Wembley etc)
* More stadium screen content (line-up or score and scorer in screen).
* The seats in most likely every stadium are mounted not in straight lines. The arrangement of the seats is terrible.
* Jimmy Jib Camera Cranes have to be updated or removed as they don't appear in real life stadiums very often and in the game they look really poor.
* Stadiums look small / sense of depth totally missing.
* Railings should not be at the height of the ankles. No excuses for that.
* Large Banners
* Season opening ceremonies
* More realistic night lighting
* Dynamic lighting
* Dynamic weather
* More individual entrance ceremonies.
* Before the game players warming up and tv presenters and reporters on the side-lines
* Players warming up before the game could be a mini game while loading the game.
* Pitch getting watered before game and at half time. It would be nice if this would have effects on the ball physics because of the wet ground.
* Walk-on kids. They have modelled some kids and their body types for the journey already (not common in every league!!)
* Aircraft flyovers (done only in specific countries for special occasions)
* Celebrating Crowds (Realistic! Not jumping all the time but if they do they do it usually all in the same rhythm.
* Greenkeepers fixing the pitch at half time and post game.
* Players giving autographs to supporters, throwing their shirts into the stands or swapping shirts with opponents.
* Mascots: They are in NHL and Madden so why not in FIFA? They walk around the pitch before and after matches.
* supporters leaving the stands.

New Stadiums

Energa Gdańsk (Lechia Gdańsk) (UEFA Europa League Final 2020)

Stadium Issues

Old Trafford

* The Adidas Logo is missing on the roof of the East Stand.
* The Adidas logo has to be added on the stadium seats in the East Stand.
old-trafford-adidas-640x427.jpg

* Floodlights are missing off the top and underneath of the Stretford End & East Stand Roofs.
goqOdXN.jpg
KjKZ67V.jpg

* The Stretford End Logo is not mounted in the centre of the roof above the goal like it should be, it is currently way off to the left. The middle roof stansion should be aligned with the "O" in StretfOrd End
CYNp2F2WwAEsfPY.jpg:large
OldTrafford_3013943.jpg?20131004143427

* The seating alignments are wrong and wonky, thus the seating lettering "Manchester United" in the North Stand, and "Stretford End" in the West Stand look mis-aligned.
- The seating lettering isn't outlined in black, like in real life.
- The "i" in the Manchester United lettering on the seats has the wrong format.
Manchester-United.jpg
Cph4BgTXEAA8LWb.jpg:large

* There should be a statue of Sir Alex Ferguson outside of the "Sir Alex Ferguson Stand" and decoration on the outside of the stadium.
article-2237431-162E56A6000005DC-45_964x606.jpg

* On the Glass front of the back of the Alex Ferguson Stand should be two ventilation grills, but in Fifa it's all glass. No Sir Alex Ferguson Lettering mounted outside. Dozens of other details missing or wrong.
DSC_0702.JPG
Cph4NnyWAAA1NNR.jpg:large

* Old Trafford now has black hoarding colours for fan entrance tunnels around the ground..
EKSK8sK.jpg

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

* All of the interiors of the corner tunnels should be covered in Tottenham blue
* The big walls where the south stand meets the east and west should also be Tottenham blue.
* The pitch should be elevated with clear slopes like that of Old Trafford.
* The technical area and players tunnel should have 3g turf.
* The shape of electronic pitch side hoardings are incorrect and should continue all around the pitch unlike at other stadiums.
* There should not be a pitch level tunnel at the halfway line in the east stand (in the original plans but not in reality).
* The camera is facing the wrong way! Tottenham have stated that the camera angle will be the same as that at WHL (as in the west stand w player dugouts should be visible, not east stand).. this shall be confirmed vs Palace.
* FIFA needs to add led ribbon boards; even if they can't there is signage in the middle tier where there shouldn't be currently

Volksparkstadion

* The space between the pitch and the stands is to big for side were the dugouts and the players tunnel is placed
* The number and placement of floodlights is totally generic in FIFA
* There are ad boards missing
* The players tunnel has the wrong colour. It should be red with an EMIRATES branding
* The tunnel isn't really placed in the centre of the gate
* The benches should be larger.
* The pavement between the pitch and the stands should have a different colour. Its not red in reality.
* They HSV writing on the seats looks odd. They have a different thickness in the game.

Signal Iduna Park

* Players entrance route is wrong.
* Floodlights are positioned wrong

Veltins Arena

* Home and away benches have switched for this season.
* Goal nets are white and blue in reality.

St. James Park

* The Gap between the stands and the pitch isn't correct

Emirates Stadium

* The print for the 2014&2015 FA Cup Trophy's have to be added
* There's no directors Box in the game
* No seats in the third stand
* wrong positioning of the benches and wrong design of chairs
* The players tunnel is to short during the entrance of the players. It's contracted after the players left the tunnel.
* The handrail on the white concrete wall around the players tunnel should be longer.

Etihad Stadium

* South stand was expanded and some of the decorations have changed
* Bottom-tier seats in Etihad Stadium are also expanded
* North stand screen was moved to south stand.
* LED boards on the 2nd floor
* Etihad has blue LED lighting inside it's roof and boxes for night games.
* Etihad Stadium has now WHITE goal nets.
* Goal posts are white and blue like in this picture.

Selhurst Park
* Entrance scene is correct. But They go to incorrect entrance in half time and full time.
Spoiler

Wembley Stadium

* Led ad boards between the stands should be added like in real life
* Bigger led screen as the one in FIFA is way to small
* The adjustable "roof" is usually closed in real life football matches but not in FIFA
* The ad boards behind the side-line should be curved like the stadium and not straight like in FIFA.
* Goal nets are to small and there must be more space behind goal net and ad board
* Crowd still isn't 50/50 in noise and amount.
* Exterior view was there for an intro but isn't shown if you actually play in the stadium.

Loftus Road

* Led Scoreboard looks generic

Anfield

* Led Scoreboard looks generic
* The Anfield Logo on the roof is not in the middle like it should.
* Anfield has now white goal nets.
* The posts behind the goals should be covered with black foam material
* New Led scoreboards need to be added in the game.

Stamford Bridge

* The player entrance route is wrong

KCOM Stadium

* Away section is missing in the game. The away fans should sit in E1, E2, E3,N6 and N7.
* All KCOM Stadium seats are grey in FIFA 16. In real life they are black and white with "Hull" written on them
* The stadium has been rebranded from KC Stadium to KCOM Stadium.

St. Mary's Stadium

* Home and Away Benches are switched.

Goodison Park

* Should have white Goal nets instead of blue.
* No players warming up in FIFA 17 like they do in other stadiums.

Riverside Stadium

* The benches are totally wrong

London Stadium

* The ad boards have the wrong positions.

Stadium of Light

* The sun-bleached former red and now pink seats have been replaced or are still being replaced.
* The lights on the roof are placed totally generic in the game.
* The ceiling doesn't look like the real one.

Parc de Princes

* Gap between the pitch and ad boards needs to be fixed
* LED boards are too far from the net and have to be longer (until the corner flag)
* LED boards on the 2nd floor are missing.
* Not enough lights on the roof/ or not all of them switched on :
* In front of the players entrance should be some sort of a curtain.

Mestalla

* New Led screens were added
* Writings on the hoarding are not included in fifa.

Stadio Olimpico

* The Track around the pitch should be green
* The Area behind the track and the position of the benches has to be redone.
* The position of the ad boards has to be redone. The corners of the pitch should be closed with ad boards.
* 2nd row of led ad boards is missing in fifa.
* Seating structure and colour doesn't reflect the original one.

San Siro

* 2nd row of led ad board is needed like Britannia Stadium.

Centurylink Field

* Hoarding and Seat colours is navy in real life.
* LED board, some decorations are needed.
* Player entrance route is wrong.

Estadio Azteca

* Seat color is too pale in FIFA.
* New LED Screen and LED board are added.

Johan Cruyff Arena

* In FIFA the main stand has wrong colours in some areas, wrong graphics and other incorrect details.
* Home and Away Team sit on wrong benches.
* Managers stay outside of the box.
* The painted Ajax Logo should be placed inside the Managers box.
* Entrance area needs an update.
* The gate in the corner is never fully closed in real life but in FIFA it is.
* Wrong placed stairs
* Glass walls in front of the away fan area looks wrong.
* On the roof should be a red banner.
* Goal nets should be red/white
* New seats are/will be installed at the Arena that leads into a new design.
* They have added banners un every corner of the stadium.
* They have also adjusted the stairs on the south side only. This is because of the safe standing seats.
* They have expanded the south side with extra seats in the moat

Edit Stadiums

Currently, we can edit a generic stadiums name, but why not take it one step further to try and bridge the gap between licensed / generic stadiums? What about seating colour? Hoarding colour? Goal net type, pattern & colour? Pitch pattern?

This is how I expect Edit Stadiums to look:

* Rename: Nou Camp
* Seating Colour: Red etc.
* Goal Net Type: Rectangle, Triangle, Deep (Wembley, Bernabeu etc.)
* Goal Net Pattern: Plain, Stripes, Chequered etc.
- Colour 1: White
- Colour 2: Red
* Pitch Pattern: Large Horizontal etc.
* Hoarding Colour:
- Tier 1: Blue
- Tier 2: Red

Or go one step further and port over the following stadium creator/editor (to FIFA 20) that was in FIFA Manager 12:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FS61WYqh4Mk

Noticed something that we have missed? Then share it with us and i will update it into the OP so we have everything collected at one point.

    Good list of stadiums.

    Certainly covers a lot of the UCL/EL regular teams. I have Celtic and Feyenoord in the Europa League group stage in career and it's disappointing to have them as generics. Aaaanyways.

    Municipal Stadium of Braga - Very unique stadium.
    Artemio Franchi Stadium - Fiorentina.
    Roahzon Park - Rennes
    Jose Alvalade Stadium - Sporting CP
    Friuli Stadium - Udinese
    GelreDome - Vitesse Arnhem (Has a retractable roof. Would be amazing to improve atmosphere)
    Stadio Luigi Ferraris - Genoa

    These teams are not exactly big in europe, but all the stadiums on this list deserve to be on Fifa.

    Lyon's one is a mystery.

    They have the model 2 years, now, and Lyon's a partner of EA.
    I really have no idea why it's not in the game, yet.

    It really is. The only thing I can think of is that it's going to be part of some women's world cup DLC but that would definitely surprise me.

    If they include Lyon's stadium in a hypothetical WWC DLC (which I think is a strong possibility) I highly doubt it would be playable with Lyon. EA's history of adding stadiums that were used for national team DLCs isn't very good either. If it's like last year EA is in danger of losing the French League to PES.

    I just hope that PES only had the Russian League exclusive for one year. I can't stand that EA managed to mess that up.

    Here's what I think it's gonna happen:

    - Bundesliga stadiums;
    - La Liga and Premier League promoted teams stadiums;
    - Lyon stadium due to the partnership with EA;
    - New MLS stadiums;
    - One or two stadiums from Saudi Arabie due to the partnership with Saudi Pro League;
    - Atatürk Olympic Stadium - UCL Final;
    - Stadion Energa Gdańsk- UEL Final;
    - Estádio do Dragão - UEFA Supercup Final;

    These last two stadiums could be in the game with some luck.... Guys, it's EA. They only add three or four stadiums apart from La Liga, Premier League or Bundesliga every year. It's sad, but it's the reality....

    UEFA Supercup I highly doubt that, seeing as they've not even added the Azerbaijan stadium for Fifa 19 Europa League. Ataturk Stadium seeing as it's UCL then very much has to be in. UCL is a big seller for EA now.

    La Liga and Premier League promoted teams definitely and very likely all Bundesliga stadiums.

    The rest are very much up in the air.

    Yeah, nobody is expecting more than that. We will probably get an MLS stadium or something like that as well. It would be nice if EA decided to do more than what we've learned to expect for once.

    The partnership with EA, for Lyon, is in play since forever, they had the Gerland in there since like FIFA 2003, but they still have no Groupama.

    The Bundesliga pack i believe is happening, there were rumours for it for 19 even, i think it's a high possibility for FIFA 20.

    And it would be awesome, of course.

    Some new leagues, like my Greek one, would splash my Career Mode experience too, i can dream.

    The last time I was blown away was Fifa 15 with all stadiums for Premier League as well as authentic broadcasting. To me and a lot of people that came out of nowhere and it felt amazing.

    I wasn't that blown away by UEFA license as the rumours were going round. But when it was announced then it did make me feel they did a lot to get it and got me excited for Fifa 19.

    A lot of the time though it's basically just bare minimum and me being a career mode player it does get frustrating having nothing but licenses to try and improve the game, but licenses only get you so far. When PS5 hits we need to see a new level of depth with modes and complete innovation. Not generic stadiums ported over from the PS3 generation.

    The Allianz Arena also needs to be updated to included the tunnel entrance. Ridiculous that the players enter from the corner of the stadium.

    Red LED lighting also needs to be added.

    I think we should knock off the ones that are likely. We don't have this year's Europa League or UEFA SuperCup stadiums so I don't know or think those are coming in. The Champions League stadium could simply just be related to Atletico Madrid and/or La Liga. However, we've seen screenshots showing streamers using the stadium.

    We know they'll add the next season's Premier League stadiums. So currently, the only confirmed one is Sheffield United as Aston Villa and Norwich already have a stadium.

    We don't know if EA are interested in adding the next season's La Liga teams. However, I am following to see if they do with Granada and Osasuna as well as Mallorca. However, this is unlikely.

    Based on this season's La Liga, I don't think EA are adding next season's Bundesliga teams. If they do, the confirmed teams are FC Koln, SC Paderborn and Union Berlin.

    Breakdown:
    2019/20 European Competition: 1 (3)
    2019/20 Premier League: 1
    2018/19 La Liga: 3

    UEFA Supercup: Vodafone Park - Besiktas

    2019/20 Premier League - 1
    Brammal Lane - Sheffield United

    I'd expect they'd add the UCL one though seeing as that's the main competition.

    Current season Bundesliga based on them not adding Huesca/Vallecano/Valladolid in FIFA19. So currently no Koln and potentially Union Berlin as Hamburg is already in game so I'd say 13.

    Huesca/Vallecano/Valladolid based on another thread saying they had been scanned so I assume stadium goes with that so that's 3 additional.

    Promoted Segunda Division teams are possible. Currently, Osasuna and Granada and potentially, Albacete or Mallorca or a non-stadium team that is in the playoffs. Maximum I'd say 3.

    Championship teams. Currently, Sheffield United and potentially Leeds as Norwich already has their stadium. Norwich could not get promotion and Preston win the playoffs with Leeds/Sheffield United being automatic. Being realistic, 2. Maximum, 3.

    UCL: 1
    Bundesliga: 13
    FIFA 19 La Liga: 3
    Potential FIFA 20 La Liga: 2 (3)
    Championship: 2 (3)
    Realistic (Maximum): 21 (23)

    it will be a shame if they only add one stadium with the ucl license...

    First off thanks to TeamExtreme for setting up this thread and continuing his push towards increased authenticity (most likely to no avail as in previous years lol)

    I know this won't happen but EA need to treat Tottenham's new ground as if it was that of a promoted team and redo/edit the stadium, using the 5 league and 1 UCL games at the stadium as a starting point. They remodeled the Metropolitano nicely so there is precedent but Im guessing thats just bc the UCL final is there this yr.

    The exact issues:
    - All of the interiors of the corner tunnels should be covered in Tottenham blue
    - The big walls where the south stand meets the east and west should also be Tottenham blue
    - The pitch should be elevated with clear slopes like that of Old Trafford
    - The technical area and players tunnel should have 3g turf
    - The shape of electronic pitch side hoardings are incorrect and should continue all around the pitch unlike at other stadiums
    - There should not be a pitch level tunnel at the halfway line in the east stand (in the original plans but not in reality)
    - The camera is facing the wrong way! Tottenham have stated that the camera angle will be the same as that at WHL (as in the west stand w player dugouts should be visible, not east stand).. this shall be confirmed vs Palace
    - FIFA needs to add led ribbon boards; even if they can't there is signage in the middle tier where there shouldn't be currently

    I can keep going but I'll save everyone the trouble as these are the major flaws at the moment. Also, if Norwich come up, EA needs to actually update Carrow Road instead of treating is as one less stadium. For example, there is now 3g pitch surround all around the pitch instead of that brown track. If the past is anything to go by though, all of these stadiums will remain outdated and inaccurate like the London Stadium.

    Ideally....

    Every stadium should have a tunnel view
    Every existing stadium should be updated as much as possible, many are criminally out of date.
    No more mixture of 3d and 2d elements, panning across the away support at Allianz Arena where it's like 5 rows and flat steps is ridiculous

    And within the stadium

    Better, realistic camera angles. Not every stadium has a spidercam, better in net camera views
    Stadiums with video screens need to have the broadcast view forced on them, instead of matching whatever view the game shows
    Better crowd interaction, why did they remove the forward rush? Why do standing fans have to sit down before jumping up to celebrate a goal?
    Realistic fans attire based on weather, it's January and snowing, so the close up view of the fans have them wearing short sleeve or light shirts instead of jackets?
    Tifo variants, it's the same card display in European games, teams with tifos always show the same one. Boring

    Dreaming...

    Editable generic stadiums, or even build-a-stadium options.

    More Italian stadiums, Fiorentina's Napoli's are long overdue.

    A Bundesliga pack, like the La Liga and Prem one would be ideal.
    And some from Greece like the Olympic Stadium, needs to be in the game.

    I agree. But it's EA. We should really expect the bare minimum.

    It will be bare minimum again this year. Because they have UEFA license now means they can sit back and watch even more money rolling in.

    Bundesliga full stadium treatment sounds like it will happen, but all they do is give us licenses instead of making modes better and more playable.

    Agree, the face textures in PES aren't great, the facial movements are laughable... But they do update with regular data packs. New faces and updated ones

    PES has plenty of mods and in fact has entire communities dedicated to I personally know plenty of forums doing great job from 3d artistic view or architectural.

    As a investor in EA im seeing couple of things that EA catters to a niche group of people which are the same fans, and casual player [which leave because is far aggressive focused in micro transactions there is very little balance]. If Ea want to capture the rest of the market, they either have to open the modding ,or bring back at last the stadium customizer [which is more plausible], Its 2019 lot of games give far more choices and personalization. I play FM, FIFA Manager, PES, yet FIFA is stuck with licenses which are good to have, but offer nothing new. Teams always invest from all perspective and stadiums aren't constant , FIFA is one dimensional and far to limited from many perspective as fact. Also fifa is far from simulator, or reality to be taken seriously.
