Broke the habit well deleted my club tonight. It’s not a game. This fifa is an embarassment and if they don’t smarten up they’ll have an nba live situation again where no one buys the new edition for even 40 dollars.

No one buys nba live anymore they also stopped making it for awhile then tried releasing it again and it was so bad. Not sure if they make it now or not. But nba 2k series dominate the basketball market. To bad pes couldn’t be the same

Yes this is how it become. Me and my friend played some kick offs in the weekend and we just laugh about how bad they done it this year. EA dont even hide their broken gameplay anymore.

It's all about the license. 2K had a much better NFL game than Madden but because EA bought the license the 2K NFL game died.

Ya the licensing stuff is true. I remember playing nfl 2k2 or something way back. I loved the fifa content. I loved who my players were. I just. Didn’t love how the game played. Like every other match is unplayable with lag and posts and the basic bs everyone complained about and to be honest. This game puts me in a bad state of mind. I tried quitting before. I packed hazard after. I tried again I instantly redownloaded it. The games a huge addiction I’d wake up early just to pack nothing from gold 3 rewards. I needed to discard and delete or else I could easily come back.
If anyone is suffering depression or anxiety and plays this game I’d recommend cutting it out of your life. After deleting my club I felt like a huge weight was taken off my shoulders
1 clubs enough for me. No way I’d want to start this over after all my grinding I’ve done

It would be a much beter game tbh if they did ban FP. The reason why they haven’t fixed the majority of problems, suggests its because of stupid people throwing money at FP
I think more should follow suit. If you read people’s threads it’s mostly people complaining and hating the game I was one of them. I can only imagine their mental health isn’t in perfect order and this game doesn’t help it. A video game is made to escape reality but this game is worse than some people’s reality.
I used to call it rage therapy but now I just find it pathetic.
I want to quit but need another game to play as I do enjoy gaming.
Every other game I play I get bored with within a week or so
I get bored aswell I always play cod and fifa. This year I bought red dead aswell. But it got boring Riding the horse all the time.
Cod is still a fun game and I’m decent at it which makes it more fun
NBA Live used to be the LEADER in basketball games (95-02). I had all of them, they were so much fun to play. HOWEVER there was a lot of competition. You had NBA shootaround, you had all of the arcade ones like NBA Jam, or hangtime and then you had 2k. So EA had to be innovative, they had to actually put in work to make their game the best. Slowly but surely the 2k series was catching up to NBA Live until it just took over completely. Now no one plays Live. 2k took over the market not because of licensing, but because they’re a better developer and actually care about their product. NBA Live is a joke of a game, there was one year that they EA cancelled the release altogether like 2 days before the drop because no one wanted it. It’s embarrasing.
EA is only winning the football market because they purchased all the rights from the nfl and made it so no other company can use the players or teams rights for their game. But madden isn’t good either, trust me. Ea is just a trash company with a lot of money.
And also PES is not as good as Nba 2k.
I have come to the conclusion FIFA 19 is like learning to surf -- it is very difficult but when you stand up, it is enough to make you want more, so you do more and you slowly improve --- yet 19 most never really improve -- the game is too limited in its flaws to improve-- so you get the feeling of surfing/standing up but you never get to really ride the wave the way it can be ridden....you are perpetually having short rides of bliss, mostly its getting hammered by waves and falling off. 19 is random, random fouls, random goals, random refs, lets say algorythms meant to make the game competitive and accessible to all levels impact gameplay significantly, frozen team on restarts.....and it all adds up to it not being a pleasant experience -- not fun, but infuriating.
You are not alone -- most real footballers (I live in Europe and kinda plugged into youth professional stuff here) do not play this game as it is too frustrating. They played previous versions, but this year, they stopped. Fortnight is cutting into the game...and to me, EA can't decide what to do with the game, make it as authentic a simulation as possible or make it accessible to the entry level person. They have not found a way to do both, or are not pleased with the business modelling of doing one or the other, so they have done both poorly.
After several months of playing 19 Ultimate Team, some things have not changed with the patches -- the ridiculous restart goals and defense standing around is still awful -- if they want to do away with 98% of restart goals, they can do it, just look at how difficult it is to score on the ai when the ai is at its optimum.....
the physical emphasis -- kudos to them for trying to implement it but they allow people to "tackle" with abandon - how many times has a winger been blown off the ball by a rb or lb who has no intent of going for the ball.....relatively no consequences to "Tackles" -- I read on a different forum that something like 12% of non slide tackles in a short game are actually called fouls....not sure of the source and data, but it rings true-- EA did not incorporate a real life response to a ref not calling the game as he should (calling fouls, giving more yellows, reds) ---
there should be a retaliate feature where you can injure an opponent or deplete his stamina or other feature -- OR even get into a shoving match.......but sliding and doing a red doesn't do any damage to an opponent -- you just get a red and the dude keeps powering up for hits....ad nauseum.
point is, I understand why you want to stop....I willingly spend about 400 dollars in cards etc last year to have fun...and it was better than this version....this year I have refused to spend more than $40....I am showing my frustration with my pocket book.....
Reading the forums, there are a lot of us who wish 19 had hit the sweet spot and brought more entertainment and fun, This version, while perhaps well intended, is vastly more infuriating than fun....and this after months of playing....,
My conclusion, EA make it more authentic, create intense tutorials of how to control more manual aspects of the game, make it less entry level,or you will lose me as a player.
Also know you are not alone, most real youngish pro footballers don't play this game anymore, its not just a guy like me who is an armchair football/soccer fan....the kids I know who we may be watching on tv in a few years, they don't like it, they don't play it....
