Yes. EA are terrible and this is just another terrible thing.

It's simple business model... giving @SupaNoodle1990 something amazing wouldn't be worth it because;

1. he doesn't have friends to broadcast it
2. 2. he'd be to bad to actually use a good player

Which is why I got an icon today...

but giving Nep good pulls means thousands of people, kids, adults or whoever see it think oh my god this could be me... within 10 minutes they've spent 80 quid and got one 85 rated in return.

Show the people what they want to see.... someone packing loads of good stuff & out of those 4,000 or whatever, a fair few will buy FP etc and get nothing. Good marketing, shame that EA are great on the business/money grabbing side of things, not much else.

I do understand stats and probabilities, but I also work in advertising. So I am fully aware how often things like this are rigged to further marketing goals. If my clients who have marketing budgets of a few million are smart enough to manage the rigging of competitions etc to ensure more marketable people win stuff, you can bet that EA is doing it.

It's TOTY... they don't need to give good packs during TOTY as they know people will buy FP, packs etc regardless.

TOTY is their prime week for making money through that (other than the start of the game & BPL TOTS).

Why make pack weights great during TOTY when you know people will eat whatever scraps you give them, when you can wait til things have died down... give them a taste of the good stuff so more people come & then they end up losing out.

win win by EA really.

I can't pull something decent to save my life. Did sooo many League Upgrade SBCs, Upgrade SBCs and SBCs in general and did't pack anything beyond 35k. Did Marque Matchup a few mins ago and the best player of all those 5 packs has been Jonas (again).
