So I’ve just got off an online single match doing my grind to get the Vrsaljko card and come up against a guy with TOTY Ramos, TOTY Marcelo, TOTY Kante, TOTY Modric, FB Ibra. Icons like Zanetti and Raul. Not a single Serie A player in their team.

Guys literally just doing this to make the grind harder for people who want the card. I know people are going to give me hell for this but seriously needed to vent.

Maybe he just wanted a single game and it was nothing to do with you or your team.

I mean maybe he just wants to play singles matches? And seeing as that's his team he isn't interested in the reward.

Did you look at his team rating? I feel most going for that card use lower rated teams.

Would’ve made sense but he had no Serie A players in that team so isn’t even going for the card.

My team is almost same, and I play online single matches just because delay is not that significant as other mods

No problem with this at all. He might have just been trying new formations and didn’t want to affect his skill levels.

However I have come across so a holes while trying this. I’m running a seria a with Tevez.I’ve done a few things to help the other guy one game was 1-1 in extra time going to pens he scored with seria a I didn’t so I scored an own goal and let him win. Also played a guy who went 2-0 without seria a players. He subbed one one so o pass him the ball and let him score before I quit.

I’ve had people quit at 1-0 when I hadn’t scored with seria a player. Twice when I was about to take a pen. Others defending like their lives depend on it when I clearly won so I couldn’t do the objective. I’m on 8 wins buts I’m been a grind.

If I can’t win or unlikely I just quit let the guy have the win and score if he needs it

Not at all, I’ve come across plenty of teams this weekend that’s been a hybrid of Serie A and Prem or La Liga and some teams that are all except forward line non Serie A.

What I’m pointing out and I’m sure you already knew that but you’re trying to be a smartarse is that this guy was clearly just trying to make the grind even more torturous than it already is.

That's not clear at all mate.

Single matches aren't only to be used for this and many people play them for many different reasons.

I appreciate you seem to think the whole world revolves around you, but just maybe he was playing single matches for a reason other than to pick on you. Consider it. Its actually pretty likely.

Just off the top of my head:

Prracticing for competitive wl
Trying out new tactics
Trying out new players
Has a smooth gameplay experience in single player
Only had time for a quick game
Fancied a relaxing match with no sweat.
Wasting 20 minutes of his life playing against people that are trying to get an objective.to wind them up

The MLS objective challenge was a massive headache to deal with, I couldn't handle it after trying 3 matches where people would either have a non MLS squad or sub big players at the start of the game.
