Building icons using untradables for the cheapest possible price. You turn your nonrares into 2 rare player packs, then put those into premium league upgrades. From there you cycle them through again (and buy cheap rares from smaller leagues) until you have enough IFs and high rated untradables to attempt various icon SBCs. Some people have gotten icon SBCs down to 200K and lower depending on pack luck.
Sounds like a lot of grind in recycling cards over and over again. How long hour wise until you can complete an icon sbc?
Think it took me like 4-5 hours completing Prime Rui Costa then Prime Best with doing these upgrade SBCs between every section on Thursday. Another 2-3 hours for POTM VVD yesterday.
Well worth it though as I saved around 500k in total and wouldn't have been able to complete both Prime Best and POTM VVD otherwise. Basically got POTM VVD for free.
If your pack luck sucks then I would avoid. I started earlier with 790k and spent 40k, rinsed all cards back in didn’t get a board. It’s a typical gambling procedure as once your in your chasing is then in the hope to get money back. No doubt it works just like opening packs works for some. I opened 15 Mega packs yesterday and the 6 200k packs and didn’t get a walk out. I’ve done close to 150 upgrades with 3 walkouts I believe.
