Why are kick off goals a thing?

I score them, my opponent scores them.

I swear, the AI just acts stupid, the keeper does too. All i do is through kick off, through ball, little ball roll and timed finesse and it's guaranteed a goal.

Scoring a goal should not make the AI ❤️❤️❤️❤️ till the ball goes out again

Its been 2/3 years now and its still a thing. Lazy from the developers not to sort it.

Its one of numerous bugs that they still haven't fixed from previous games that people constantly talk about.
