How players you have kept (and played with) for longer perform better? My Ruffier was god tier and I had used him for 140 games, but I just got a fresh one and he's trash. Same chem and chem style

As weird as this sounds, I believe you can get good cards and bad cards of the same player.ive had a player in the last, been brilliant, sold, eventually replaced and has been rubbish. I'll replace with same player, rubbush, sell again, replace and they are brilliant. Same card, same stats, yet they all performed differently... weird I know

If the card isn't fresh or if I can't find a fresh one, I look at the games played/ goals scored. That helps me decide which one to buy - silly I know!! Obvs I wouldn't pay over the odds for it, but if it's only a few k I will

I sold Prime Keane to do his SBC and get some money back to profit and his new untradeable feels loads more dynamic than the tradeable I had.

Personally I reckon there’s a hidden statistic on each card that relates to form. I have players that for 7 or 8 games play like absolute beasts then for the next 5 games go missing. It would explain a huge amount (why players no longer make runs, why the AI is less effective in 1 game than another etc).

Did this with SIF VVD until he was a monster. Still doesn’t compare to the NIF weirdly who is the best CB I’ve ever used

Yeah well if you play an easy opponents it's easy for for instance a Gabriel jesus to score a hattrick but if you play an elite player he probably goes missing. So that's also a factor.

This i have also had this so now if a card plays well and it's not to expensive then I tend to keep the card instead of selling as theres probability I might end up buying back at some point

I feel you. It's so weird. Mertens is meant to have High/Low workrates but appears in my midfield and puts no effort into making runs, even instructions don't do much.

Ya, this is one of my tin foil hat theorys as well. I noticed if u replace someone in your team after a while that's playing bad with someone on your bench they'll have a really good game also then start to level off. That makes me think they have an in game form as well.
