I LOVE black mirror. I watched/played a chunk of this last night and didn’t really get into it though. I kind of rather just watch an episode than this concept. I’ll finish it later though

The cereal choice dictates what ad you see later on, meaningless but a nice touch.

    Rabbit:
When you first see the kid looking for the rabbit, the only choice is no, even though it presents it as a choice.

Then when you get a yes/no choice he dies on yes, meaning that's why the only option was no because you'd always go back to that point to avoid a 'game over'.

    Freewill:
In one ending he says he fixed the game by tricking the player into thinking they had free will, I thought that was fantastic as that's essentially what they did you us. After a certain point he kills his dad no matter what you choose, it just takes a different path to the same outcome.

I did a replay of some parts and
got a different ending although it was similar to scenes I’d already seen.

I’d like to know what ending you got first time. I’ll tell you mine as well if you want.

The first I got was the best, so trippy.
Kills his dad, chops him up.
    The kid loved the game.
It it's to modern day TV saying "this is a clip of a 1984 TV report about a boy who killed his dad.
The modern day report says most copies of the game were pulped but a woman has found a copy in her dad's belongings and is rumoured to be remaking it for Netflix.
It cuts away from the TV report to just the woman working in her project, her computer glitches and you get the choice "pour tea on computer/smash computer.

I think that was my first anyway, it was definitely my first that went to credits and wouldn't let me go back.

@milner I could be wrong but I reckon everyone gets that ending no matter the choices they take. BM is all about messing with you mind ofc, is there really such a thing as free will?

If you watch it again you reset all decisions. I didn't get it when I did it from scratch.

Everyone is just sick and picks the worst option which results in that ending :joy:

My first couple of times through I kept choosing the “wrong” options as it kept making me restart from a certain point including one where I
ended up at Colin’s flat and you have to choose which one of you jumps off the building

Did manage to get all the way to the very end eventually after making multiple different choices and going back. The Netflix option for one of the choices is funny with what it leads to!

My favourite ending was the one where he
kills his dad and chops up the body and his dad’s head is there in his bedroom at the end

Very interesting concept and had me gripped all the way through. Loved the nod to Metalhead on the posters as well. Can’t wait for the next full series!

P.s I messed up the spoiler tags so just left it

    Perceived free-will eh.

It waa alright. Free will to affect the story was obviously an illusion and also didnt really feel real.
