Ratings decreased?

Just started a career mode and after 1. August half my players overall ratings decreased by -1. What the hell is going on. First the stamina bug and now this. Does EA not want people to buy their game or what????

Got the same. Started a career with NUFC and they drop after some of their attributes increase. This only started happening after the latest title update so i hope FIFA fixes this because its annoying as hell.
You can check who's overall will drop before hand if you go to edit player you will see their overall is not consistent with their overall rating in SOFIFA or in the kickoff screen

This is really frustrating . Been trying to start a career mode and this bug happen to me right after I had spend one of the financial takeover options . Now it’s just wasted . EA really needs to pay more attention to career mode .

It IS really annoying, I agree with that. But on the other hand, I am now in my third season, and it seems my players have got some of their rating back. Tolisso and Martial are both 88 rated, Pulisic and Rashford 85 and so on. So the bug is mostly a confusing matter, more than it ruins anyghing. I almost stopped playing the game, but stuck with it, and now I am actually not too bothered by it.

Yes, contrary to what some suggest, the players do also develop - also in other squads/leagues. Just try simulating a couple of months, and you’ll see that the young and promising players have developed.

It doesn’t seem game breaking. (Annoying though it is - and of course for some annoying enough in order to be game breaking.)

I have actually stopped playing career mode because of this bug. I used to play it so much and would actually enjoy playing it but it's go to the point where it's not fun anymore

Yeah the bug seems to happen right when some players increase through training and other times just for no reason. It is hella obnoxious and while not game breaking because none of the stats actually go down so the players still play like their correct overall, it's annoying enough to distance me from career mode until it's fixed. Note how I say "distance." I'll still play occasionally but not as often because the good feelings of increasing overall are now bogged down by "oh no did a player get hit with the random decrease when they're in their prime?"

If they fix it next update will the ratings return to its normal or I will have to start a new career like what happened with the faces update ?

Looks like they are doing everything they can to screw career mode game up...maybe a hidden motive: get you to play online ..ultimate...don't fall for it!
