The Full Defensive Tactics !!!

I dont know whats wrong with this tactics... but everytime I try to switch to it so I can avoid the counter attack, I feel like my players never stay back and my CBs advance to the midfield as if it was the attacking tactic !! Any ideas ???

Sometime they don't save, so you have to do it in-game

What have you actually set your ultra defensive tactic as? have you actually edited it?

I guess its my own fault... I wasnt really understanding the five custom tactics concept. I didnt know that you could set up every single tactic before the game and use in game.

Yeah thats probably where you was going wrong pal , you have to adjust your CT's for all the 5 different styles to make them more defensive or attacking etc. hopefully that should help
