i cant play this game sober..literally.i use to get excited to play a few fifas ago when i was at work,out etc...now i gotta be on another planet too play otherwise its so BORING.just my honest feedback
Fifa 18 was miles better. This game is just a bunch of random events, OP defensive AI, blocks like candy, bounces that always go the wrong way, an AI that slows you down when it doesn’t want you to have the ball, defenders with 40 pace running down 90 attackers, Ai repositioning your players so you cannot break crap. A passing engine that decides its time for you to make a mistake, through balls that never work and 40 yard behind ther back timed finesse....YUP QUALITY GAME...!!

I use to think it was a con into thinking you need better players, spend more on FP. But now I think the game is beyond fixing .
I would be more inclined to spend more money on FP if i enjoyed the game...

I have gone back to playing FIFA 18. It still drives me crazy that certain players are able to run through your team like knife through butter but it is still a better game to me than FIFA 19. If they had fix that issue and put it out as FIFA 19 I would be much happier. EA has been making these games and similar ones for years but some how as soon as they get close to making one that works well, they abandon the engine and introduce a new one with more flaws than the previous. I wish people were serious about getting through to them. People are still buying FIFA 19 like it is worth the money. Please stop buying it, if you want them to fix it!!!!!
I've been playing FIFA since 1999, on PC. I have switched to Xbox One in 2017 and liked it.
I'm no performer, having just managed to master the Pro level on the 17 and 18 versions.
I've been playing the 19 edition since December, about 250 matches until now.
I started a Career with Nottingham Forrest on Semi-Pro promoted from Championship to Premier League and won the PL in second season.
Then switched to Pro. I finished with a 40-25 goal difference, ranked 6th in the end.
However, at this level, the odd issues of the game appeared.
The percent of error applied randomly to pass and shot precision is way too high and you see high-rated players making ridiculous pass and shoot mistakes, the same as a middle or low rated player.
A high sprint speed is not enough, a low rated player will catch a high rated player, even if the latter has a 5 meter head start.
Even if a lateral defender is low rated, he will still anticipate and intercept a long ground pass in the same manner as high rated defender (which brings us back to pass precision).
This was not seen on FIFA 18.
Having seen that in the past season, I entered the User Gameplay Customization and brought Shot Error User, Pass Error user and First Touch Control User from 50 to 0.
At this stage, the improvement is visible and the game dynamics is again at a decency level similar to FIFA18.
Another observation, not related to gameplay itself - the dynamics of the players' way to fall when they get in contact - this has been definitely affected from 18 to 19, they twist and turn hilariously on the pitch after a foul, be it shoulder by shoulder or slide tackle. Contacts with the keeper - same thing, the normal way of falling to the ground when the keeper hits a player, that looker fine in FIFA 18, is unrealistic here.
Overall, I like playing FIFA, even the 19 edition, but some changes were no improvement and went beyond common sense. These need to be tweaked individually by the user, as I proposed above.
Playing online Seasons, the game play seems very inconsistent. In some matches, the game play is more solid and the match can be 0-0 for a long while. Then in other matches, the defence goes haywire leaving huge gaps at the back and the GK lets in lots of shots even ones that go straight down the middle of the goal.
it's come to the point where I've lost all hope EA will rescue this franchise from it's certain and inevitable death by taking the proper measures to make it as great as it used to be. It's just a fact that FIFA 11 and FIFA 12 way better than any of the 16-19 editions. At some point they just stopped trying and decided to just cash in on their golden cow every year instead. sad but true

I run a fifa web league games played in friendly online mode that’s where I’m finding it unplayable
Seasons had way to much interference this year to enjoy a balanced game based on skill libel the sway is mad ...

I mean WTF is wrong with finally having an authentic and realistic football experience that is far far more skillbased than FIFA 18 was.
Finally we have a more skillful passing system, and you need to build up play as there is finally a midtfield in FIFA.

The game is a disgrace and it's impossible to "git gud" when the passing and shooting is so inaccurate no matter how careful you try to be. The ball just goes wherever it feels like no matter what you try to do!

If everyone ditched FUT and went back to online seasons mode etc , normal game modes, I'm in no doubt suddenly they will "do something to fix the game"
I see more and more people opening their eyes when it comes to manipulation into spending more money... The problem is that the online mode is so inconsistent. I almost never play a fair game in champions. One player is always very obviously favored. They get better shooting and passing direction, faster touches, better positioning, better tackles and tackle resist. Every other game is like facing two opponents, one of them being the mechanics playing against you.
I also play single player and like it a lot more. Not as much as 18 but it is different and that's my opinion. The biggest problem with offline is that bad teams essentially play the same as top teams regardless of player stats on the higher difficulties.
So Fifa 19 is great. As long as you don't like playing online with consistency, good mechanics, physics, and have never watched soccer before. Also, the pack odds are a rip and a lie for sure. I've recorded everything I've pulled and anything higher than 84 rated is way under their posted odds.
How its possible the fifa help clearly at teams with 80-85 in global and damage your team and can’t do nothing! All pass goes wrong, not cards, the forward not move!

I’ve played since last September, I have a reasonable team, two icons Informs birthday card etc..
The other day I played this newbie (he messaged me saying that) he had 65 chemistry and all low gold cards, obviously he needs to play more to build a team up. He beat me 2-0 as I couldn’t score, tackle, pass the right way, 2 yard shots blast right over the bar.. I was basically handicapped right from kick off.
I said that’s EA helping you with their big fat hand making sure your still playing and not giving up.
Ridiculous that we have to play these rubbish shabby delayed connections games..

The CPU is ❤️❤️❤️❤️. CPU VS CPU IS SO UNREALISTIC FOR WHEN YOU ARE TRYING TO DO tournament experiments. Club Brugge lost 6 0 to Rosenborg at home??? Also its kind of boring tbh. Need more interesting features.
Every Player in the game is a sprinter until they touch the ball, then, they become a jogger. Every defender is of exceptional quality. Every Player is an acrobatic player. The game is better played with your controller firmly placed on a table and the AI takes over. Ridiculous.
