I'm doing a career mode with Malmö FF first since there are no updates expected as far as scans go there anyway. After the november update I will try a La Liga career mode with some mid-table club.
Planning on doing a Managerial Career Mode with Dynamo Kyiv. I've waited a long, long time to play as them in FIFA, and I seriously can't wait to get going.
I've decided to put them in the Poland Ekstraklasa. In this league, ALL of the teams (other than Legia Warsaw, who are the current Polish champions), will remain in the league. The rest of the teams will be the European ROTW clubs. This'll make it more interesting and challenging.
I am currently typing up a Stadium Assignment, so it'll look a little bit more authentic (correct stadium names). Finally, I've given myself a challenge on trying to win the UEFA Champions League (within 3 seasons), and thus becoming (or making Dynamo Kyiv) the first ever Ukrainian UEFA Champions League winners. I've got my work seriously cut out for me now, but I am ready for this challenge!
I start with Olympique Marseille, Fulham, Dortmund, And Valencia. I am fan of Marseille and Valencia that is the reason why i start with this teams! Dortmund's reason is There fantastic stadium and Fulham reason is Also because of there stadium! 😁
Gonna try out starting at Celtic, it's something different wanna try a journeyman career haven't done that for years. Do well in Scotland maybe progree Celtic in Europe a little maybe get a job in England after someone like Newcastle or spurs be good then hopefully progress around europe and see where I end up. Will do.a road to glory as well

What is the November update exactly? And i also plan on starting a career mode with Wycombe Wanderers and bring them to Premier League glory!

They always add some new player faces in the beginning of November. It's usually players from the promoted Premier League teams and a dozen or so from other clubs. This year it's expected to be players from the promoted La Liga teams as well.

Oh nice! That makes sense. I appreciate your clarification and response, thank you.
Going to start with a newly promoted team in Serie A or with a downgraded team in Serie B (They still have real kits etc.). I'm a Milan and Serie A fan so that's why. Milan is a project I may take on further down the career, don't like jumping into big teams directly.
If any small league has license then maybe I'll do a career mode in that league.
Im going to get Hamburg promoted back to the top division then go to Dortmund at the end of the season if they're available. Maybe one with Deportivo La Coruna or Malaga aswell.

EA has the rights to both Italian leagues so they will all have their real kits won't they?
Man Utd as always. I’m not fussed over RTGs, experimenting with different signings is good enough for me. We still need new full-backs and replacements for Alexis/Matić (Alexis has been amazing for me on 18 though).

Ha ha I've done Malmo several times. The schedule is wrong and the fixtures aren't real. No licensed goal keeper kit or third kits for the Allsvenskan. Of course there is no promotion relegation. There is no commentary other than introducing the team. There is no Swedish at all. There are no player faces and Rosenberg looks especially awful (last year and I"m sad). I wonder if Rae will mention Malmo in the Europa League fixtures since they supposedly did a bunch of team recordings this year.
I'm going to try the Norwegian League even though I don't really like Rosenborg.
1. get Milan back to the Champions League;
2. catch up with Juve's 34 titles (might not be able to do this anymore since I think Career Mode is limited to 15 seasons - more arbitrary limits!);
3. catch up with Real's 13 Champions League titles;
4. overtake Rocco as the most successful Milan manager of all time;
5. overtake Ferguson as the most successful manager of all time (I count 50 titles although apparently Charity Shields don't count);
6. beat Juve's record of 102 points;
7. go unbeaten;
8. beat Torino's record of 126 goals in a season;
9. beat Milan's record of 12 goals conceded in a season;
10. beat Inter's record of 17 back-to-back league wins;
11. beat Juve's record of 6 back-to-back Scudetti.....
1. Maldini's record of 902 Milan appearances;
2. Maldini's record of 647 Serie A appearances;;
3. Buffon's record of 974 minutes without conceding a goal;
4. Buffon's record of 295 Serie A clean sheets;
5. Buffon's record of 9 Serie A titles;
6. Piola's record of 274 Serie A goals;
7. Nordahl's record of 221 goals for Milan
For 1-5 I'll be banking on Donnarumma. For 6 and 7 I'll be banking on Cutrone.
I've already put their real life stats in an Excel spreadsheet and will be keeping my own stats in the background while I play the game. I'll give Career Mode a go because it's convenient but if I feel it's lacking, particularly with computer transfers, I'll revert to my Football Manager/FIFA Career.
Is there a way to play career mode without managing everything like training the young players and all that? Last year I got discouraged because I had limited time to play and I spent half the time dealing with the managing side of things instead of playing actual games.

Players grow during play time as well so you don't have to do the training but also there is a button to use previous session so train same 5 players with the click of a button.
Or you can do a player career mode and control all the team but that takes away everything including transfers.
As usual I’ll start with Celtic and transform them into a top team. I might try and take Sunderland back to the Premier League this year on top of that, and maybe do a player career.
I get used to my starting lineup way too much and hardly make changes so how do the rest of you do a squad rotation? There's barely any injuries even with sliders so I'm trying to keep things fresh and interesting, throughout a season.
Down to 4 saves in Career Mode! It was bad enough when they dropped from 10 to 8. What the hell, EA?! They really ARE trying to drive us away from Career Mode, aren’t they?

Tell me about it. I wish at least Rosenberg had a custom but the team looks terrible. But oh well, it's still my team so it's fun anyway.
I actually had an idea of doing a career mode with an all-star team of former Malmö players throughout the world. Then I would get some old favorite players as scans in the team such as Ibrahimovic, Forsberg, Yotún and Tinnerholm. Love all of them so that would be cool. I hope they add scans for Olsen, Jansson and Berget next year too.
Undecided if I’m going to buy FIFA19 just yet but when I do I’m going to start in Argentina with Aldosivi. I like to do a career where I start in South America and work my way into a European job. I love Argentine football and I liked the crowd atmospheres and presentation in FIFA18.
I’m a bit upset that Boca Juniors is not licensed, gone to PES but the players and the rest of the league are still in the game so I can deal with that.

But I like the look of Valencia, Betis and Villarreal too
