Best time to purchase icons?

As stated in the title, wondering when the best time to purchase an icon is to use in your team?

Opening more packs than usual so am looking to buy one of the new big icons.. I just don't want to lose a lot of coins.

Was gonna try and pick them up on cheap bid during early access but I'm not too sure

I'm in the same position, going to have 120k fp when most I've ever done is 24k. From what I've seen picking up icons during early access is the way to go as there aren't many coins on the market, so prices are lower. I'm looking to get CR7 early or one of the big icons that has a 5 star weak foot, Cruyff Gullit, possibly Socrates etc...

If you somehow get over 100k on the web app then you should buy then, Icons like Bergkamp were selling for like 150k and went up to about 400-500k within a week of the full release.

Agree with cheesecake. Buy during early access. They will go up a lot as soon as the full game launch

If you're buying anyone to use in your team, the cheapest time to buy them is as soon as possible. From the release of the web app until 1-2 weeks after full release, cost of players will be on the rise.

With EA Access’ discount it’ll be £720

I'm on PS4 so no EA access but I've got 60k loaded up already. Went with Cdkeys and got a bunch of £50 codes at £45 each. Basically works out same price as above. Seems like alot at once but I wasnt spending it all in 1 go and this will set me up for whole year and won't spend anymore. Will work out £13.84 a week until fifa 20
