Hello.
I am randomly dropping connection to the EA Servers sometimes (Pro Clubs), despite the fact I'm still connected to the EA Servers and am put straight back to pro clubs menu (connected).
I am using an ethernet cable.
My speed is not especially good. However, this seems to be a problem when devices are on the WiFi. If my partner uses the wifi it seems to be likely to disconnect me (I am unsure as she is not in the same room as me when I play fifa).
How can I prevent EA disconnecting from games me like this (Whilst still keeping me on the servers and connected to PSN)? Can I put the PS4 on a certain mode/network set up so any wifi devices won't interfere with the wired connection? Or is the wireless use of the wifi (same router) not related to my using a wired connection?
What sort of speed (download/upload) do I need for a good connection (minimum)?
Thank you.

Mind you this is for the UK so not sure what you would use in other countries.
If this works then you can maybe say thanks by making a small charitable donation to a worthy cause of your choice
For some it is a geographical separation from the servers.no on can fix that. Others may have poor networks within their homes, unlikely that someone will be able to fully fix that from here too.
All that's left is to blindly blame EA.
The strange thing for me is I'm disconnecting from the pro clubs match, but get put straight back into the pro clubs mode connected to the servers still.
My connection is slow, but I am using ethernet cable. The problem seems to occur more when someone is on the wifi. I never have disconnects ever on GTA or other games like that.
I'll try it. I'm definitely not in the habit of donating to charity every time someone is nice/help to me though. Lol.
All changing the DNS to 8.8.8.8 does is use Google’s dns servers rather than your isp’s.
It might work but I doubt that is the cause of it.
I’d go into your router settings and put the PS4 into the DMZ to make sure it’s not a firewall/blocked port issue.
How do I put into DMZ and ensure wireless devices doesn't mess with it? Thanks
Are you using the smarthub?
bt hub 5
@SonicKante ring BT and tell them you are having issues with the hub and wish to upgrade to the smarthub. It's a much better kit and deals with Quality of service much more effectively. I'm using the smarthub and have no need for DMZ at all. Hope that helps.
Oh ok thanks . I'll look into it
