You can support multiple clubs imo if they’re in different leagues.

What happens if they face each other in international competition of some sort?

Then u find out which team you truly love. Doesn’t mean you can’t support other teams tho.

    Liverpool, Atletico and Roma.

Atletico because I love it when the beat the **** out of the prima donnas at Barcelona and Real. Especially Ramos. Love how Diego Costa is always bullying him like a rag doll.

Roma only recently I've been paying attention because I find their owner really funny. I recall an accusation being made by someone about how Liverpool and Roma are owned by the same people and somehow the issue derailed to a conversation about birds.

You truly support only one club, but you can follow/have a soft spot for multiple clubs in different leagues.

Even as an American, I’m gonna have to agree with @wth22

I support United. I have preferences in other leagues, but I’m only fully emotionally invested in United.

Good grief guys, do I need to change the title to “which teams do u feel even a remote sense of affinity or attraction toward”??

Yeah that's more accurate as emotionally for me it's Liverpool only but it doesn't stop me from having a soft spot towards other teams in a different league.

Just to add my 2p, there's a difference between a fan and a supporter of a club. The latter gives money to said club through buying merchandise etc
A fan follows a club and always likes to see them do well.

So yes. You can have multiple clubs close to your heart imo

Tbh i forget that the word “support” has a different meaning in the English sense than in the way Americans use the word. Most Americans follow multiple sports and “support” multiple teams but more in the sense of the way you describe a “fan.”

Yeah I suppose I kinda get that tbh, that's just my take anyway. Here in Scotland we call people glory hunters for supporting teams that aren't even their local team. I support my local team, but I have a lot of friends who just support Celtic/Rangers because of one reason or another.

I was raised as a Liverpool fan but have always done my best to support Shrewsbury to the point where I have attended hundreds of games and even worked at the club.

Also have a big soft spot for Sunderland due to my Mothers side of the family who all came from the city.
