Barza already called up for Sassuolo.
Maybe as a Chiellini-style motivator from the bench? Or as a defence guru for Rugani?

Great performance by Nainggolan today and Lautaro is a perfect super sub for the time being, he enters the game with so much energy.

    Should have conceded that penalty.
Just to teach Rugani a lesson.
  • Sarrismo has been cancelled.
  • Whaf is happening to the team.
  • Anyone notice sassuolo fans celebrated Ronaldo's goal.

TIL it's not actually Mehdi Benatia, it's Medhi Benatia. My whole life was a lie.

WE SCORED A PROPER TEAM GOAL.

For God's sake that's how we should be scoring goals with the attacking firepower we got.
Not endless crossing hoping that someone knocks it in.
    That was actual football.

Piatek again and Paqueta on the score sheet. 10 shots on target.. looking good now the squads getting injured players back plus the new transfers.

Atalanta next I think which will be were, we see how we stand going forward.

    I bet @opasni_ is still #GattusoOut, though.

That was a fun game to watch...forgot what it was like to have a relatively non-stress game

The next one against Atalanta is huge

Yeah Atalanta will test the defence.

Seen a stat this morning that Donnarumma has 52 cleansheets in 150 matches now. Unreal considering how poor our defense was the past few years.

How's Juve's old mate Lichtsteiner doing at Arsenal, @Pughy30?

Jesus the less said the better :D. He's so bad it's got to the point where we've dug up Carl Jenkinson our 3rd choice rightback who hasn't really started since like 2016 to play for us

Lichtsteiner, a seven-time Serie A winner and two-time CL finalist, replaced by Carl Jenkinson.
    Great banter.
I did warn you when you got him...

It’s at least 3/4 year he is really bad, we only kept him because he knew the system

BBC basically confirming that we've signed Ramsey... on a £400,000-a-week contract.
Ronaldo earns around £500,000 a week, current second-highest earner Pjanic is on £100,000.
    Yikes.
Most expensive free transfer of all time? :D
I really hope the BBC got the figure wrong. Maybe added one too many zeros.

    Well, it's official now.

    Took them long enough.
That monumental contract has somewhat tempered my enthusiam, though.

You are probably saving £40 million in transfer fees.

€450,000 a week... absolutely mental. €90 million Euro over 4 years.
  • What in the world is going to happen when Chelsea don't buy Higuain lol

    Isn't it 7M per year?

Reports are all over the place.

The original was >£400,000 (sorry, British sources)

Then this morning I saw £325,000

Now I've just read £6,000,000 per year (€7,000,000 - £116,000) as a basic, which puts him at Pjanic's level and a little below Dybala.

Given there was no transfer fee, I'd imagine the truth is somewhere in between

Anyone else noticing from the Ronaldo negotiation stories that Marotta does not feature in them at all, that it was all between Mendes, Paratici, and Agnelli?
Probably he saw he wasn't needed anymore, in the end, and simply left...

The BBC had him on 400 grand a week in our money. They aren't the type to pull stupid figures out of the air.

    Dybala-Salah swap deal.
The newspapers really don't know what to write about these days.

    What the hell.
Icardi has been stripped of the Inter captaincy.
    Handanovic now has the armband.
    That was... unexpected.

We can't be surprised after all that has been said by Wanda.
