Cambiasso linked with the interim manager job in case Spalletti gets the sack.

I'd rather he go off and become a solid manager elsewhere, if he was to get the job and didn't do well, it'll harm his career long term.

Saying that, anything would be better than Spaghetti so if Cambiasso is the only option, then lets go for it, he might actually show the team how to pass in the middle of the pitch and create chances without having to cross it 50 times.

    Well, more bad news.
Yesterday Marotta reiterated how Spalletti's position is very solid, also stating that in 22 years of working as a director/CEO he never fired any coaches.

He should be allowed to finish this season, hardly his fault our players have been missing 4 sitters every game recently.

This group of players will get any other manager fired too. Finish the season, then think about hiring someone better and improve the midfield.

Meh, looks like we are only going after big names now I still have to understand if I like it or not

From a skills, crossing, and finishing point of view, he's second to none, plus he's got a great relationship with Ronaldo.
What I find very questionable is his defensive work and lack of common sense.
I still got this image ingrained of him skillfully keeping a ball in play close to the penalty area where he could have safely left it for a throw-in... and Madrid ended up conceding from that.
As I already said, he would very likely be another Dani Alves, not only on the pitch, but off it as well.
Don't think he'd like the rigid structures at Juve too much.

Looks like we're moving to get Genoa's Cristian Romero immediately in the summer instead of loaning him back.
Smart choice, given how our defence desperately needs rejuvenating...

He's a good defender from what I've seen, I'm not sure age is even the biggest concern for Juve, the younger guys have been making most of the mistakes.

It's because we can't go on with Chiellini for much longer.
As good as he is, he's approaching 35, and his knobbly legs won't last forever.
Barza's likely to retire or leave this season.
Bonucci's a grasshopper in comparison to the other two, he'll be 32 this year, so he still has a few seasons left in him.
We need replacements for Chiello and Barza, and the sooner we get them, the better.
If we get splash the cash and get De Ligt too we should be very well set.
De Ligt, Romero, Bonucci, and Rugani.
Fifth-choice CB will be whoever we can get on a free transfer, I bet.

Drop the bomb on De Ligt, keep Rugani and drop a bit on Foyth.
    Bam. Defense fixed.
    Then poach Chiesa and Piatek.

    Always time for a first.

I'd rather he go now but if we can start winning games at at least get 4th locked down, get rid at the end of the season. If the results continue to be awful and 4th place starts to slip, then he's got to go. We need Champions League for money and appeal.

    Yeah sure.
BTW, De Ligt's agent is Raiola, which won't make things easy. :|
Oddly enough, transfermarkt lists his agent as someone else.
Are they wron- well yes they can be, I remember when they marked Bentancur as two-footed when clearly he wasn't. :D

So Douglas Costa, after crashing his car in Italy in the morning, flew to Paris for Neymar's birthday party.
Making very full use of the two days rest allowed by Allegri. :D

We've managed to sell Sturaro to Genoa for 18 million.
The first Juve player to greet Ronaldo when he arrived won't ever be able to play with him.
    Poor guy.

Obviously a very inflated figure (Genoa's record transfer too) and Preziosi is not a big spender, he's helping Juve balance the books and Juve will give him something back later.

I'd like to know what conditions were met since Sturaro's loan was announced 12 days ago to trigger the forced option and bonuses without him playing a minute of football :D

Apparently it was Genoa getting one point.
That was it, that was the condition, Genoa getting at least one point, independently as to whether he actually played.

Raiola for sporting matters, the other for marketing?

Jeez, Napoli have for now suspended Hamsik's transfer to China.
Makes EA look a little silly by already releasing his EoaE card... :D

Ah, they've reverted last week's skill move upgrades of Napoli players.
Interestingly, they also gave 2* skills to a bunch of seemingly random goalkeepers...

If you can't get one Croat, try another.
After failing with Modric, Inter now want Rakitic, who apparently has requested Barca to be let free in the summer.
Meanwhile, it seems Juve are on a serious mission to drastically rejuvenate the squad.
After CBs De Ligt and Romero, it's the turn of midfielders, with Zaniolo the main focus.
Somehow I doubt 40 million will severely tempt Roma to sell him...

Seen it was €16 million for Sturaro.
Hamsik going next week for a medical in Madrid, so China still on?
Milan still in for Hector Herrera and Brahimi.
Miranda could be on his way out of Inter in the summer.

Some say Hamsik has already done his medical and the deal's basically done.
Apparently the Chinese club wanted to change the deal to a loan with obligation to buy, but De Lamentiis wanted an immediate transfer instead, and they acceeded.
Also, have a look at this:

I did not realise just how much of a consistent presence Hamsik was, even in his early Napoli career.
