My recommended servers keep changing

I live in South Asia and normally my recommended server is Southern Asia in which I get connected to people from my region and the connection is just fine (I'm referring to the WC mode here), however sometimes the European servers become my recommended servers and I play people from Spain, France, Germany, and the UK and the delay is so bad.

Does anyone else experience this issue?

In case you don't know, You can check the recommended servers in the pro clubs settings.

This happens to me since late FIFA17 and I lives in Hong Kong. Many people have this issue too.

The corect server should be Central Asia but I would be connected to Southern Asia/Northern Asia/Indonesia/Australia/Europe/America servers. I need to disconnect and connect the internet connection in PS menu and check the recommed server in Pro Club before starting weekend league, otherwise I would get 1-4 bars connection. But it seems that this does not affect the matching in online Season.

Does it really help as I have laggy unresponsive gameplay most of times? From Australia though.

Changing the server from the pro club setting doesn't affect your matchmaking in FUT, you will be connected to the server that says Recommended next to it.

Yes it doesn't, it only affects FUTchamps and WC Tournament.

Where is the settings mate? I couldn't find it in Pro club.

You should be a manager in the club to be able to find it, or use the create a club option

Are you sure this affects our fut/wc matchmaking? I've been checking my recommended server for a few days. I'm in the UK so I should be on the British Isles server but apparently my recommended is in southern Europe. I've always wondered why in drop in games there never seems to be many English speakers, majority are French.

Changing it will not affect your matchmaking in FUT/WC. All I'm saying is that you get connected to the server that says Recommended next to it.

When my recommended server is Southern Europe I face people mostly from France and Spain, and when it says Southern Asia I face people from my region.

I can confirm this because I don't just judge based on their PSN or their team names, I also send them messages and ask them where they live.
