Prime Rio still TOP 2 CB in the game?

Hi guys, I have been using tradeable version of his card for a few months. I am thinking of doing the SBC to open packs. Is he still the too 2 with Prime Maldini after all TOTS Cards and end game player?

yes he certainly is. i have him paired with tots hummels who is untradable. hummels is not even close to rio. him, maldini and toty ramos are probably the best.

Both of the above statements are correct. Rio much better than Kouli.

Benatia on the other hand definitely gives him a run for his money.

im just playing all defenders are dependent on the connection in any given game - if Ea wants to mess about you could play Cafu and Beckenbauer together and would still take 20 yard touches and fall over each other the minute you dare to manual control them

I haven't tried Prime Maldini but Rio is the best CB I've used this year. I got Koulibaly cos his stats looked insane but his H/M make him out of position a lot.

Rio is mile better.

Yeah I use Ferdinand and Desaily and rarely concede. Each have their own strengths, and weaknesses, but I don’t really have much preference. Rio is more physical, whereas Desaily feels faster and more technical tackler

this. 89 Blanc is pretty close too imo, but a slight tier below those 3. Prime Rio is absolutely worth a slot in a team.

the only defender i used that came even close to these guys (non-icon, non-TOTS) was IF Benatia

I dumped desaily into Gullit SBC 2 days ago as I got Ramos on tots SBC lol.

It’s arguable. He is top 5. Good enough that an argument can be made for him against anyone else. Certainly if you have him you should spend your coins at a different position as if you’re upgrading its neglible.

Was lucky when i packed the 88. When the prices sank was able to trade him in for the prime and have no regrets.
