If they really are doing so, then my perception of Liverpool fans has changed drastically. I know it's probably not reflective of Liverpool fans as a whole..

This is what football fans, in general, are like. I much prefer watching other sports live. I knew he'd gate hate, he's probably going to get death threats soon as well.

Wow, this world is really cancerous. I have up until now held Liverpool fans in high regard as one of the best fans in the world. Not for being vocal, and for their anthem, but for my perception of them supporting the team when they are down.

Seems like the times have changed. If I were Karius, I would not get on social media for the next 2-3 decades..

Sure a team mate didnt even go near him, they where beat by a better team anyway. Salah might of went off injured but just before he went off I was asking myself where is he.

Every single team no matter the sport worldwide will have at least a couple thousands ar**es as fans, to leave comments about how all Liverpool fans are ❤️❤️❤️❤️ is just absolutly moronic. Wise up and Grow up, thickos.

    Man City fan here.

I'm glad Liverpool lost the final and my word what a goal Bale scored. It has to be one off the best goals I have ever seen if not the best goal off all time. I think the Liverpool fans got what they deserved in the end. If you trash our team bus that could have got someone injured or worse killed then it's no wonder most people don't want them to win the Champions League. I accept we lost to the better team on the 2 nights as we wasn't good enough which was very disappointing for us.

I do think Salah is an amazing player to watch and good role model and I feel sorry for him having to come off early in the game. I think he be playing for Egypt in the World Cup.

I do feel sorry for Karius as he's made 2 bad mistakes. 1st goal he should have been more aware that Benzema is near him after catching the ball and you can't do that in football and I think Benzema couldn't believe he scored a easier goal then he dreamt. 2nd goal he could have caught it as it was about 30-35 yards out from his goal and it was a bad goal to concede.

I am appalled by some off the things people have said about Karius (And his family) as there's no place in football or society for making disgusting and vile comments about his family and anyone caught should be given a lifetime ban from going to any football game in the UK. He's a human like everyone else and we all made mistakes from time to time and he's probably more distraught than everyone else about tonight. I hope it doesn't shatter his confidence as it was just a bad day for him and we all sometimes have bad days.

I think it's the opposite, you'd be surprised. In football and the Prem in general most fans are awful. But there's a few decent ones. But yes, not all are like that. But it quite funny how that's the part of the OP you focus on

It was a general view from reading all the comments fella. and your wrong in your other statement mate, most fans are decent hardworking people who are generally nice, it’s a very small amount who get carried away.

As for the Man City fan, yes it was wrong what happened to the city bus, but again that was a tiny tiny portion of fans. So I say again, you can not generalise a whole city , fan base because of this.

First guy I revert to the thicko comment , as for city fan, I too hope karius gets over this but I also hope that was the last time he pulls on a lfc shirt.

this was very telling too, not even captain “clean sweep of cup final losses” henderson came to his side at the end.

be mad at the guy in the locker room afterwards and all that but hell the only ones consoling Karius was Bale and a couple other Madrid players. The guy at least had the stones to go directly to the liverpool fans and apologize all by himself.

I was hartbroken seeing him alone at the end of the game. His teammates should have at least give him some comfort. They just left him alone. As a footballer he's bad but he's also a person to whom this will determine his life.
Adds another concept to "you'll never walk alone" Shameful

If you want someone to "blame" it's Klopp. His last 6 finals, 6 losses.

Karius as someone said, has been doing these mistakes before, it's not new, so Klopp should of known that. Also the team itself is average, no one outside Salah that was changing the balance

I don't think his teammates leaving him alone was intentional, it had probably more to do with the teammates being caught in their own grief

its literally Suarez redux. He made that 13/14 team almost prem league winners all by himself, allowing Brendan Rogers to somehow look like a tactical genius. being so overly reliant on one world class player having a world class year was a slippery slope then and it was yet again today
