I just got TOTS Goretzka for winning the DKT!
(Actually it's just one of countless glitches and bugs in the game because I had Goretzka as an untradeable duplicate. I did get Volland in my unassigned pile after restarting the game.)

I did pack him actually... twice. That's why he showed up as a visual glitch after winning the DKT because I had his duplicate untradeable in my unassigned pile.
He's great btw but overpriced. No way he's worth twice than Müller, Rodriguez, Bats etc. I think it's more due to hype. He's been hyped right from the beginning. His 82 rated base card used to be soooo expensive as well.
Ah I see! Was lucky to pack him as well. For me he's a top 3 midfielder in this game, his 85 was ridiculous for me. I had actually bought him for 800k before I packed him, and would have considered it worth it tbh.
Honestly, I think Savic will be better in game. For me at least. The main thing I did not like about Goretzka (played about 40 games with him online!) was his strength. Yeah he's tall and very fast but just feels weak. Even though he has like 77 strength and very high aggression. I like someone who can bully opponents and dominate the midfield. Goretzka is more of a "runner" than a bulldozer.
issue is his work rates though, not a fan of h/m for a cdm. might be okay in a 2 cdm midfeild tho if vieira stays back
