I made into the T100 today because I played my games early and I was able to check all my opponents and what record they had while facing me. I was surprised to see some players with a record of 13-0 facing me while I had 23 wins and 10 losses. Seems like a little bit of a miss-match don't you think? But then I began to see a trend...every one of my opponents had a nearly identical amount of wins over losses to me. For example, with a record of 23 wins and 10 losses, I had 13 more wins than losses like my opponent. EA sees that we both match there, and believes they made a fair match-up.
Do you believe that is fair? It is a system that basically punishes you for playing early because you will face tougher opponents. Imo it should be about a percentage of wins to losses. In the example above, my opponent would be at 100% while I was at 69%. What do you guys think?

It's when the matchmaking goes from instantly matching you, to taking 30 seconds - 1 minute to find someone. That's when you know your playing the best of the best.
how do you explain this then?
Obviously the more lucky you get the higher you could finish that weekend. For the average elite 1 player that could be the difference between 34 and 37-38 wins, if he gets lucky a few times.
That's screwed up
It's 100% not.
I don't think anyone knows "%100" what the matchmaking is.
Unless you have some actual proof to share with us, and not just anicdotes.
Play enough WL, look through the Champs channel every week.
Lets say you start your games Sunday night. If you start 5-0 you aren't suddenly matching pro players on 35-0 just because your predicted rank is Elite 1.
The only reason people think it's based on predicted rank is because they start Friday, are 10-0 or so and then they are matching pros/Elite players, because those guys are around that record too.
yeah, that's exactly what I meant by "anecdote"
I'm not saying you're wrong, buy I'm saying one guy's observations with no record of those observations or evidence shouldn't make anyone confident enough to say they "%100" know how the matchmaking works
