Just because Tite is really stubborn. Tite kept calling Cassio, even though Vanderlei is miles better and others like Rodrigo Caio, Taison...well, Renato Augusto was our starter until last friendlies.

Not even a contest. Firmino isn't being psoken about how great he's been due to Salah being Liverpools go to player, but he's been solid. Jesus is good, but nowhere near Firmino's level atm (even though they're different types of players in the advanced role).

I think Firmino would be a better fit for players like Neymar and Willian/Coutinho to thrive with as well.

His overall game is just miles ahead of Jesus' at the moment.

Yep agree. Was just talking about this with a friend. Firmino can create something of nothing if needed, and distribute to the wingers. Jesus apparently relies on service according to what Joe was going on about with the City games

tite is going with jesus, he started every qualifying match for brazil and scored the game winning goal against germany just 10 days ago. service, We have neymar for that, what brazil needs a pure goal scorer and what tite believes he has found in jesus. Hes headers are phenom stuff.

Yeah, he is a great headerer. He was unlucky to miss from 3 yards on Sunday. Then the one he scored hit the top of his head like 6 year old scared of the ball

Don't forget his psychical presence, defenders are scared to go into duels against him.

Imagine taking the fact one is picked in the Brazilian national team as the be all and end all.

Lmao iirc last summer Jesus said in a interview (while playing for Brazil NT at the time) he hates going for headers and is scared to go for them .

Im pretty sure Firmino has more headed goals as well. Could be wrong.

I have no idea what you are talking about. As you can see this is a new account so I must be new here.

As I am new I read the forum rules and they say discussing moderation is forbidden, so we would be best not to.

Bolding out 2006 like that's the relevant date. It's from 2015, that would be the bit to pick up on :joy:
