lol you can still use him in regular FUT! Getting players in the WC mode is much easier if its the same as 2014 because everyone is a non-rare player and you can get like 5-8 players per 7.5k pack

PTG cards are only for FUT, not the World Cup mode. The WC mode will be like the 2014 version. They are not related
No one knows yet but I do know world cup mode got boring very quick.
Also remember wasting all my coins.
I didn't play any other FUT mode but the World Cup version until '15 came out.
It was alright for a while but you might as well forget about TOTS and just save for the world cup mode and all the duplicate players you get in packs.

Nope, that article was released 4th of February, it’s been discussed in the Fifa 18 base section forum since then.

Won't be able to use R9 in world cup mode, that's why I stayed away from expensive untradeables this year.
Same Fifa 14 WC mode was the last time I had fun playing Fifa. Was great actually packing Messi and Ronaldo for the first and only time.
