Prime Crespo at CM - Desecration?

I love Crespo, but the thing is I really like C.Ronaldo even more.

However I'd really like to keep him in my line up, and as I am not good with two striker formations, I'm thinking just converting him to midfielder. Has anyone tried Crespo at CM in 4321 or in other formations?

I think it could actually work, because I do defending manually so defending stats are irrelevant for CMs IMO. Only real downside is that the Prime's passing is still pretty bad...

Thoughts?

Seriously though, I don't think he'd work there, for all his talent and goodness on this game, his passing is pretty average.

Yeah, the passing might turn into a problem.

Can't play CR7 at LF because Prime Ronaldinho, and Ronaldo is ST card anyway.

Guess he will be left at bench for super sub role...

Waste at CM. Might as well put him at GK. I used to use 4321 and did ok. Now using 4312 and I am twice as good. Give it a try if you haven’t already

It's way too narrow formation.

Maybe with the right chem card it'd work, but I dunno, such a waste

I have his prime, close to 100 games played with him now I'd say, I love him but can't get over how bad his passing is, he struggles to do basic lay offs/one touches that my Kaka/Ibra/Pirlo/Deco do with ease, even Gabriel Jesus was passing better before I got Ibra

not that bad at all. 60 assists in 110 games for me. time and time again sets up adp and dinho

He assists for me too but it's those simple passes in the midfield/early attack phase where the lack of passing stats can be noticed. He makes good final passes in the box, I give you that.

I find his passing adequate and I don't see it as a con for the card.

The only con I can find is his med attcking workrates but this is fixed with instructions.

this is not a crespo review thread i know but one thing that shocked me is how good he is with skills moves actually. i'm not major skiller but he comes out of moves real fast, that high agility comes handy with that

anyways just wrecked another WL opponent with him keep him at striker pls

I mean it is absolutely wonderful card!

Fast, strong, LETHAL finisher, good heading, and yeah really good with skillmoves.

It's total package, apart those build up play passes which are really bad from time to time.

9.5/10.0 played at ST

One of my favourite cards this year.

That new ST CR7 though...
