Is LB Bale actually good at defending? Is he worth getting over TOTY Marcelo?

Probably silly question but there is a 300k difference between the two and I want an alternative to Marcelo that won’t loose me coins.

I didn’t like him tbh, his low marking + high work rates gets him caugh out a lot of the the time. He has the pace to recover but it’s just not worth it. Went back to trusty SIF Telles

used him for about 20 games and he just doesn’t cut it at LB, tends to drift high up the pitch which leaves you exposed

I used him here for around 25 matches in a 532

He's not that good at defending, decent but not incredible. But the real probablem is his stamina, only 79

With a LB that's had such attacking talent you want him getting forward, but with all that dining back and forth he's gassed by the 60'

The only reason he has 80 defending is because he has 99 heading accuracy.
