Southgate is a moron for leaving behind AWB, but good for United I guess

AWB and Grealish should be in, poor decisions from Southgate in that respect, happy with most of the squad though.

He left out England’s best keeper too

Don't understand this reasoning from Southgate tbh. He's been playing on the left wing for precisely 1 month after being a midfielder for the past couple years or so. He'd be a better option than Barkley or CHO.

Southgate basically said he's 1st reserve if someone gets injured over the weekend as well. Disappointed for him, I mention Grealish for England a lot of the time but he absolutely deserved to be involved in this squad.

Trippier and Walker will be finished in a few years and AMN is **** at RB

    KWP hasn't impressed me either.

Gonna be a very solid core of TAA/AWB/James fighting it out probably for the most part for the next decade. Maybe Aarons if he gets a move to a more defensively solid side where he can show more.

Leave out Tomori, Delph, Barkley and CHO/Wilson and you have the 23 man squad I'd pick for the Euros. Wouldn't mind Shaw instead of Rose though, just hope Chilwell will be the starting LB.

No problem with leaving out AWB, because you don't need 3 RBs in the squad, let's be honest. Heard Trippier is doing quite well at Atletico and as long as he continues to play well for England there's no reason for him to not make the squad tbf.

TAA is everything you could want from Trippier and more. Him and AWB will do just fine.
Heck, I’d even use him as a contingency CM option, given your lack of creativity there. TAA, AWB and James as the RB options.

    Sterling-Kane-Sancho
    Maddison-Rice-Henderson/TAA
    Chilwell-Maguire-Gomez-TAA/AWB
    Heaton

    Pickford
    Tomori
    Shaw
    Chambo
    Mount
    Rashford
    Tammy

Also, Smalling should have been picked over Stones.

Why is leaving AWB a bad decision?

Trent and Trippier are playing better.. even Walker is now.

Walker has been a far better GK than RB this season.

    Yes he is.

He’s been godly apart from one error in the last match

    Tammy
    Kane
    Sterling—Rice—TAA—Sancho
    Shaw—Maguire—Tomori—AWB

I’d be interested to see how that outfield line up worked.

Godly? Hmm okay. I've watched your games and hes been decent but godly is not right imo.

Trippier hasn't been bad at all..

I agree Godly is overstating him, however he’s been good, and as a youngster there’s way more value in taking him over Trippier imo. Plus he’s the best defensive fullback out of the three so logically it makes sense to take him as a different option

Leaving out Wan Bissaka is hardly an outrage considering our other options in his position. He hasn't been playing so well than he has to be included. Look at our group and ask, why do we need a defensive right back? We're playing Montenegro and Kosovo ffs. Walker, Trent and Trippier are all better going forward.

Probably an unpopular opinion: Trent and Chilwell would be the best fullback duo at the Euros. Their set piece abilities are just the icing on the cake.

Walker has been a far better GK than RB this season.

He’s been superb this season. Better than AWB and as good at least as Trent. Ridiculous but picking him.

We need a CB pairing that works, depending on how much game time Gomez gets it should be: Gomez and Tomori.

Maguire and Stones have been ****

I’ll just assume you don’t watch football to be honest because he has played extremely well. Also you think Trent should place CM for England having never played there in top level football. That basically makes all your opinions null and void.

Oh, I see :D. Well it seems some here can't even work out they're our best full backs. Not sure if they'd be the best at the Euros, it's probably close between us, Portugal and Spain
