It's a big game aswell so would be a head turner. A goal and assist tomorrow and he's front runner.

Ummm this is not right.... Aguero's 4 goal game was in Feb. So it should be at least that.

Apparently although man city play arsenal on thursday 1st march, it counts as this weekends fixtures, so aguero also has one more game.

On the premier league website it states arsenal v man city is part of matchweek 28 which is this weekends fixtures.

I would of thought it would be when the matchweek starts not finishes, we'll have to wait and see.
It's just about the month. Games in Feb count, games in March don't.

I started writing before i finished checking some data on previous nominies, but it seem's your right, Pascal Gross of brighton was nominated for september with only 3 games played the 4th game was on Sun 1 Oct which did not count, so i think salah is looking good for potm.

Can't think of other potential nominees off the top of my head.

Actually it does count for Feb. The game was originally schedule for Sunday (2/24) but was moved to Thursday to accomadate the Carabaro(sp?) Cup Final which includes ManC & Arsenal which is the exact game played on Thursday. I agree it sounds a bit odd, but the game will count in Feb as the fixture was originally scheduled in Feb.
All of which is true until the assumption that it will count for the award. It's conjecture without a source.
