Groves is a bum and Eubank is too scared to fight GGG I dislike them both

    Eubank would win though

Eubank will box him silly for 12 rounds.

I rate Groves highly but his only chance is landing a big shot, going to be a great fight.

Eubank wouldn’t even get a fight with GGG right now so that’s a moot point

GGG said all he was waiting on was Eubank to sign so he could have had the fight. He didn’t and I’d say quite rightly at this stage of his career.

I’m torn on this fight. If Eubank imposed himself from the first bell he wins. But if he tried to cruise the first few rounds Groves will get away. I can’t see any result than a points win.

Groves is the much bigger guy and has been in the ring with much better opponents (admittedly lost to most of them) but that still counts for a lot

It's a pick em fight for me

Groves has the range and power
    Eubanks has speed and stamina

I think Eubank is a fighter who looks really good against mediocre opposition, but struggles when he steps up.

Most of his opponents either stand there and get tagged or move back in a straight line allowing Eubank to put combos together.

Whilst Eubanks ability to put shots together is veey good, I think once he is in there with someone like Groves who is going to move off at angles, be coming in and out of range more actively I think Eubank could struggle.

In a fight he wins, in a chess match he loses.

We will know after tonight I suppose

He's only fought one top fighter and lost to him

We won't know if there is a pattern or if it was just a bad match up until we see how he handles groves

I thought the general concensus is that groves is the more skilful fighter?

No. Eubank is by far the more skilled fighter. Better movement, better defence, better inside and outside, faster hand speed and far greater range of punches.

Groves has the power advantage though and he’s been in with better fighters so experience is on his side. That counts for a hell of a lot.

Fair enough, I thought groves is the better boxer. Should be a good fight, if junior wins it'll be a step up, not saying he isn't capable just that he hasn't fought anyone of groves calibre yet. Gutted I'm out for it

    Eubank is the better boxer

Groves is more experienced and has the more power

See it going down to the judges for sure

Eubank on points but I'd much rather Groves win

Spot on assessment. Such an intriguing fight.

In other news, devastated to see No-Mas-Chenko v Linares isn’t happening. F*** golden boy promotions!! That’s the best fight in boxing right now, even better than GGG v Canelo.

Can’t stand groves but I can’t see Eubank jnr beating him, I’ve got groves by either late stoppage or points. Just don’t think Eubanks has the ability to wear groves down enough to finish him.

That’s interesting. I think you’re the 1st person i have seen to predict Groves late. Most people feel he will gas if it goes on into the later rounds.
