POTM Aguero is arguably better than 94 R9
Crazy, but he has better shooting, passing, dribbling and physical. Also has high attacking work rate.
He's missing 5* wf and the finesse shot trait which probably make 94 R9 slightly better...but it looks pretty close.

R94 has speed dribbler, chip shot, finesse shot, 5*/5*, more pace, and most importantly is 10 cm taller.
POTM aguero is not better
R9 has awful stamina though
yeah, why did they do this to so many top icons? really cuts their effectiveness, and you dont want to sub off a 6 million coin card at the 70'
I was too young, but did Ronaldo actually have sub-par stamina IRL? Even his prime has only 81
M/M workrates is also annoying

Nah, 96 is better. M/M workrates but 96 has beats defensive line trait.
Medium attacking without this trait is Balotelli level movement

10 cm taller...but has much worse jumping and heading stats. Pretty sure they'd perform similarly in the air. Aguero also has much higher aggression.
And Aguero has beats defensive line, which 94 r9 does not, if we're comparing traits. 5* skills i don't find super important compared to 5* wf. And again, Aguero is literally better in every stat area except pace.
Highlights include: 10 more curve, 10 more heading acc., 11 more jumping, 14 more aggression. 5 higher composure And 16 higher balance (on top of 4 more agility).

you obviously don't go for headers much this FUT. Height is by far the most important stat
if it was a 3cm difference then aguero's superior stats might make them even performing for scoring headers. but 10cm difference is huge, aguero will not be nearly as effective in the air
R9s poor stamina is a myth, in 3 months never once did I have to sub him off
For the PTB mosh pit commonly called the penalty box in a WL game..... yeah, that is not great.
As i routinely see my ToTY Kante or Messi outjump players who are 6 ft+ for the ball I'm gunna have to go ahead and disagree with you on that. Height is important, obviously. So are stats.
