How's NIF Messi this year?

Never really see him in many squads and doesn't get mentioned as much as previous years. How is he? Considering trying him out up front on 7 chem. Have 87 Del Piero in the position currently (up front with Van Basten).

Best player I have used. Playing him as a CAM with TIF son and 87 Crespo up top atm. Does get tired around 65min though.

I should have added, I have Maradona at CAM so Messi would be ST or nothing.

Stamina was actually one of my concerns. Del Piero has been excellent, just thought it would be kinda cool having Maradona and Messi in the same team.

If you have Maradona for CAM id go NIF Bale as a striker instead.

Appreciate the advise mate. It's really Messi or sticking with an Icon though. Only really considering Messi due to him being the best of his generation (in my opinion anyway).

Oh, then I would not get Messi tbh, there are better options out there (still good at St tho)

Much better than previous years he flys by defenders in this game and his finesse outside of the box is a goal 9/10 times.

Totally understand you! I think you should try him and see how it works then mate. Sound like he is one of your favorites so you'll enjoy him a lot anyway

Wee bit outwith my funds I'm afraid, but if I liked Messi I would make that my next plan.

Used Messi as a RST for those finesse shots and he was great. Great dribbler. Keeps the ball very close to his feet and his shots were ADP like. Passing was great too.
