Update - Pressing Home button in FUT Champions = forfeit

Per the update note on console, pressing the home button means an automatic forfeit.
I think it may take a bit to get used to - see me accidentally quitting a bunch of games by accident this weekend!

Totally agree with you. The accidental "let's save the great goal" (or BS goal) is going to take a bit of getting used to.

I often press the home button without even thinking to join a party, the fact you can’t even press the home button for 1 second to do that is stupid. Surely they can fix it another way, whatever they done last year?
Yeah ... 10 secs was just enough to record something - not the normal X, but wanting to record 1 minute for example.
na, because as long as you can open the menus there probably other ways of creating other glitches. this may have been the only option to get rid of it for good going forward.
Honestly, EA are absolutely buffoons if they can't fix errors in their own code. No other game has anything like this level of incompetence. I mean, seriously - pressing the Home button forfeits your game. Wow.
On XBox you use Cortana and voice commands, but I can't seem to get it to work.
Just do it afterwards at Highlights. At a high scoring game you might be unlucky as there’re not all goals in it tough.
But those recordings are not the same angles as when I play? Never used them much at all before.
Recording from highlights doesn't always capture what you want. In game is best.

I think I have a Kinect somewhere down in the basement. Not been used for years.
I do agree the less cheaters the better, they don't deserve their wins if they have to stoop to those levels to get them, but at the risk of costing games for normal folk who sometimes use the Home button for other commands, it's utterly ridiculous. Why should everyone suffer because of other players' cheating.
So unless you have kinect you cant record the weird things that go on?!

Agree. Alienate/pi$$ off the majority of their user base by implementing this.
At times you've really got to wonder what type of sledgehammer approach they take to coding/dev. Flabbergasts me!
