CAM not connecting passes since patch 4231 wide

Played loads of games in div 4 today after a week break. Cam can’t connect passes to my other players. Just don’t get it as I normally play possession play. Players dragging their feets and input delay. Feels like something is wrong. Should I try non cam formation?

I disagree mate. Gnabry goal tally for me is 60 goals in 75 and I don’t play SB. I play possession style and connect him bang on goal with the strikers.

I was div 3 2 points from promotion then the patch now div 5 and can't win a game just started changing formation only 1 worked for me so far was 433 (4) but only 1 game so we'll see

I was div 3 2 points from promotion then the patch now div 5 and can't win a game just started changing formation only 1 worked for me so far was 433 (4) but only 1 game so we'll see

Me too. I normally play 4231 wide possession now I have switched to 4212(2). Defending is a bit better now so the space at the back don’t matter no more as defenders are making better tackles. Play 2 now won two. At least now I pair my icon Hernandez and if Wilson.

4231>41212(2) by a long way! 4312 it's closer. Been trying a few this WL under the new patch and the 4231 I've won my last 5 games. 41212(2) feels extremely rigid. Even more so than pre-patch. The wide CAMs make a lot more runs and are more effective for me post patch seen as build up play is slightly better due to the slightly decreased passing tempo/accuracy. It's much better at finding the space for a clean shot on goal.
