You sure it's not your internet mate? Run a few tests on this site, see what your bufferbloat is like.

Thanks mate although my internet is 3rd world speed I didn’t have any delay last week. Tried resetting my router but still the same. After I created this thread I noticed another with lots of people complaining about the servers today.

You can have slow download/upload, it can still be a great gaming connection. Ping, Jitter/packet loss are the most important factors. Games use very little bandwidth. Bufferbloat is very important for gaming, you can test that on the linked site.

Terrible, means your connection is unstable with ping spikes. You can improve Bufferbloat with a good router. The default router's ISP's supply are usually awful, with poor/no congestion control.
  • I honestly wish I understood how all that stuff works lol. So I just settle for what I have lol

Check out this channel for a great cheap option router, or get a more expensive netduma router that is more user friendly.

Seem to get no ping spikes, choke or loss on other online games with more people connect, just FIFA always inconsistent one game feels slow another game feels fast, etc probably in many cases it isn't anything to do with the user's internet but the servers or sliders.
