There's no casual modes anymore. It's frustrating for people like myself who enjoy using silvers and non-meta players because every game mode is filled with those sort of low-lives.
Can't they have a version of the game with no rewards for more casual players? Would love to play with a team like my old school german inform silvers like the good old days without getting smashed 5-0.

FUT for me was exploring the database, building teams from every league, dozens of single nation teams. Finding hidden gems and having loads of fun. Hands down the most fun I ever had with FUT was with silver and bronzes.
Look what its become. Gold only, mostly EPL, formation switching, PTB, discards 4x their price because of SBC. Bronze and silvers nothing but SBC fodder. Ultra competitive must win in every game mode, pathetic childish celebrations. And people spending hundreds of pounds on this ❤️❤️❤️❤️, despite knowing EA has lowered the card weights to near impossible levels.
A great game destroyed by greed, profiteering and commercialism.
I hope one day we get a game that's about playing for fun, not for profit and virtual materialistic gain. R.I.P. FUT.

7 silvers, I only use the golds as anything less than a gold keeper is just pointless and Azpilicueta as a bit of steel. But other than that I am winning and loving it when my 60odd rated Chaudary is dominating Bakayoko. People must by crying when I put their rinse and repeat teams to shame

Had this same issue on PS yesterday, tryhards making me watch replays and cutting off passing lanes after I give them multiple goals by spamming offside trap. One guy told me he didn't know I was trying to do the challenge and was just "messing around" despite doing all of the above and passing around the back the last 15 mins
Played a 10 player icon team last night. Prime Rio, Roberto Carlos, Schmeichel etc. They had IF Pereira at RB and bronze benched just to beat my crappy ❤️❤️❤️❤️ team

Ea really need to take a good look at what the game has become and bring in a few more fun modes and not just this win at all costs bs and eliminate the cheaters once and for all
2 of them, pause, switch to 4231, counter-and-through-ball pace abuse, etc etc.
1 of them, guy defended like his life depended on it, got a lucky counter in the 42nd minute, dabbed, paused and switched to 5-2-1-2. Time-wasted to start the second half before I put two past him, at which point he had no reply because he switched all his attack options for extra defenders, and when I went up 5-1 at ~80 minute rage quit.
Last game, beastly team but guy ran straight back from kickoff to give me a corner. We ended up giving possession to each other throughout the game, making sure each of us had at least 3 headed goals. Game ended 8-8 (a lot harder to score headers when you need to; even did a scorpion kick goal by accident...) and I won on penalties.
Most enjoyable game I had all week.
never gonna use Carrol, but hey, free card for playing a few games, yes please.

I just can't understand why ea removed the fut tournaments....at least the standard bronze and silver ones. They were so much fun!!
a premium pack is a great reward...Carrol, great , useless reward, i am not going to use it, or any other christmas cards....overpriced and ugly looking

I might just make a bronze team anyway and take the losses from the sweat gang.
Did the same, team name “head4carroll” and we let eachother have a go
Both of us even subbed some fieldplayer in goal instead of DDG and Fahrmann
they add to the fun.... yes its frustrating when your the one getting dabbed on, but when you dish out some muevellos back its return in funny. lol
