Totw vs Totgs upgrades

Why are players only upgraded from 79 to 82 ( like Rigoni, totgs) when players like Ginter go from 78 to 84 on one totw IF?

I dont think that is fair, it being 1 vs 6 matches .

I don’t know how EA do it but you’re right, it doesn’t make much sense. Gonzalo Castro the Malaga player went from 75 to 81 a few weeks ago.

MB i actually thought it was one If only. But still, the Point is... Players with those 78-80 ratings on totgs are getting upgraded the same as 1 totw basically, and it shouldnt compare

Exactly, Ginter went from 78 to 82 then 82 to 84 on his second in form.

EA have a very clear system.
Base card > IFs
75-77(I think) >81>84>86>87...
78-79 >82>84>86>87
80>83>85>86>87
81-82>84>86>87
83>85>86>87
84-85>86>87

Any in form above 86 gets a +1 compared to their latest IF with the exception of POTM.
