WL rewards - Gold 3 > Gold 2?
I usually end up in either gold 3 or gold 2. Putting coins and luck aside i seem to get better player pulls from gold 3 pack than the gold 2 ones where u get the rare mega packs. Do u guys feel the same?

i pulled Robben, Courtois and PTG Bakayoko from Gold 1
Morata, florenzi, benatia, burki, cahill and etc from g1. Almost every weekend end up with 25 wins.
Was going to make a post saying G2 to G1 rewards will I aim my hopes high lol. Guess not lol.

It's just pure luck, I earned more with my Bronze 1 rewards than my mate who got rewarded top 100 rewards because he was falsely accused of cheating (if you don't count the 125k cash reward but only the players). He did get 11 informs though, but that still was not worth more than my 270k for Auba.

Nope that’s a fallacious conclusion. Packing better players from gold 3 doesn’t make it better than gold 2. It’s all luck.
Just like packing Messi from Silver 1 doesn’t make it better than Gold 1. Luck.
All things equal, gold 2 gives you a better return in coins. Therefore there is nothing for EA to fix. Except your superstition.
yeah but gold 3 gives you a rare players pack, while gold 2 doesn't. so the rare cards in rewards for gold 2 are more likely than gold 3 to be consumables or managers.

well given that the coin rewards are pretty small in the grand scheme of things (make 300-400k a week trading so the 50k or so from these WL rewards is a pretty small), and the yield from an unlucky gold3 vs gold 2 is like 50k vs 65k....
i'd rather have the better chance to get lucky and strike it big than another 15k
Open 100 rare mega packs and compare with 100 rare players pack. The 50k pack gives u a better chance to pack a good player since consumables are included in the rare mega pack. And i meant most ppl prefer a player only pack rather than a pack containing consumables.
Of course 100 x 50k is better than 100 x rare mega. However in Gold 2 you get TWO rare megas.
Each rare mega gives you between 7 and 10 rare gold players, occasionally up to 12 players. Each 50k pack gives you 12 rare gold players flat.
So 2X rare mega already gives you between 14 and 20 rare gold players, PLUS a lot of rare consumables.
Yes, Gold 3 also gives you two mega packs, but chances are you'll only get 3-6 rare players from that, which is offset by Gold 2's rare gold pack.
And not to mention the extra 15k coins from Gold 2.
