Pull the other one, they flag your account after a big pull. I haven't got anything since launch week.

Those league, nations and hybrid sbc’s seem to have a very high card weight. FIFA points seem to be a waste of time. League sbc’s seem a bit crappy too

League SBC packs have been either really good really meh for me: Got absolute trash from Liga Nos & Eredivisie but got a ton of good cards from Super Lig & Russian league.
I'm sure there's some level of rigging involved in packs but I don't think it's anywhere near as bad as some people seem to think it is. Just re-adjust your expectations - not every Mega Pack is going to give you an Icon or Ronaldo.

Sometimes it is really strange. For instance I did the bigger rewards from the different League SBC's. From the Mexico League just one and packed nothing. Turkish and Russian League were both profitable for me. Just out of those 2 I made approximately 80k profit (just out of the big packs, haven't done the **** packs). Also the advanced sbc's were good (league nation, hybrid)
Yeah it's almost as if it's random.

honestly it could be both. random or just programmed. Sometimes I feel packs are random and sometimes it happend also to me that I received same players b2b or in a few packs. I don't see that as purely random, as there are so many players available to pull.
That's a pretty primitive form of gamblers fallacy, where you would expect not to get the same player two packs in a row, where in fact you have the same chance of packing the player in question again as you did in the last pack.

It's like if it has landed on red ten times in a row on roulette, some people would be inclined to think black is more likely to come out next when really it has the same chance as red.

Or whatever idefk wtf I'm rambling on about anymore

They are as random as slot machines. Programmed to let you catch small wins to keep you playing. Designed to make you go bust.

It's literally no different than slots at a casino.

This is probably the most accurate description.

SBC do have higher drops, but they're designed that way as they themselves are a clever ploy by EA.

Look at things like the Gold Upgrade SBC. Available all year round so you can rinse all those cards you deem unworthy to use. Before long you've rinsed every card under 80 to 83 etc. You're not willing to rinse your 84 and above so to continue you have to buy more cards or buy more packs to refill.

Countless threads here saying " do the gold upgrade its sick" people doing it 70+ times. Its funny because theres a well used phrase on here "never buy packs with coins" but doing these SBC you're effectively doing just that. Lowering your club value by giving up players with value, often for untradable cards.

SBC are genius, whoever came up with it likely got a big fat bonus from EA. Must have made them tons of profit.

One thing I have noticed is that if I use a player in a sbc he will be replaced in a pack opening shortly after. Anyone else get this?

If every Fut player bought and spent 12,000 FP at the same time, there wouldn’t be more ronaldo’s on the market than usual, just loads more bas dost’s

Packs are noway random, i have opened shitloads over the years i played fut.

And since 18 release the game likes giving me italian GK p
perrin 83 rated as my highest pull.

I pulled him 2x on sb rewards(2xmegapack) and 3 bloody times on wl rewards last week.

And from the 24k fp i spend in total since 18 release i have packed perrin back to back shitloads of times(probly 45x, no bs) as my highest and most expensive player, that **** aint random but preset in the game somehow.

Last year i always pulled some other dude b2b.

    Noway thats random

This is my quote from another thread,

Never bought fp yet and I've been playing since 14. Last year was a bit of a disappointment. I opened each type of pack and several sbc. I never even got a walkout! I've made 470k so far but I don't plan on opening packs with coins anymore. Rewards will be the only time I open packs from now on....

I personally feel that anyone that thinks packs aren't random and that EA have different outcomes and weights programmed to different accounts is an idiot, but that's just me.

So you can't know and you definitely don't know how exactly it works but you think that anyone that thinks packs aren't random is an idiot?I think l have a bad news for you my friend. You have to be an utter idiot to think like that.

The patents stated that your spending pattern, thus the amount of money you spend on the game, influences the outcome of the game. I think it does also influence how much you get back from packs.

Also; I think there's some kind of pattern where some players are more common on certain days than others. For example; I packed Vermaelen b2b in 2 7,5k packs the other day. The odds of that happening and not Vermaelen and some other nonrare cb with the same card weight, should be similar to packing something huge.

So no, packs aren't random like EA states they are, but they'll never tell unless some law comes (which I think it should), forcing companies to be more clear about their ingame purchases. It's gambling. Only difference between in game gambling and IRL gambling is that a 12-year old child can't get into a casino.

It's shocking no single government has ever taken some kind of action towards these systems.

(And yes, I'm guilty of spending quite a decent sum of money on FP)

China is comea into effect shortly, virtual game purchases in the form of crates, packs etc must lost the weights.

At least you know the chance percentage with a casino slot machine. Never trust something that doesn't reveal the odds.

    easily rigged too.
those slot machines have a percentage payout which can be changed.
its normally 92%....btw thats way way higher than fifa packs

so explain how some youtubers of twitch streamers open ed like 750,000 worth of fifa points already and the best players they packed were in non traedable 2 player packs... 750,000 fifa points is nearby 6000 euros if you have EA access.. ive spent like 500 in the first couple weeks and im good for the rest of the game since i packed multiple players worth over 1,5 mil

As I was reading this thread and agreeing with most of it, I remembered I had played a few weekend league matches for the first time this FIFA. Went to check my silver 3 rewards and pulled Neymar lol. EA must be lurking here because I'm a fut founder and this is the best card I ever got. :D

Of course they aren't random, if for no other reason that it is not possible for algorithms used in this kind of code to be truly random. They always need a seed..... but I maybe getting a little geeky here.

I can tell you for Doing a PACK ONLY club on FIFA 14 for 5 years packing over 8200 individual players that for that release you were twice as likely to pack a player from your favourite club. By the time I hit around 5000 players, I had twice as many QPR players as I did in any other club.

Oddly it was only the players from the original database. The transfer players dropped at normal rates.

Duplication is another thing that I found that had to be clearly affected by EA and the pack weights which means by definition it can't be random.

Lastly, given what we all must now concede regarding EA's manipulative behaviour with this game and how they will do anything to encourage us to believe we could get rare items in packs; you would have to be naïve to not see that all these pasty YouTube sociopaths get better pack weight than the rest of us.

In 5 years and 8200+ players packed plus all the duplicates only 6 of them were IF or TOTS. No points, no trading. Yet even with points and coin sellers these guys would have to be opening $1000's of dollars worth every week to get the number of IF's ICON's and special cards that they do. You could make a case for a few rich morons but not that many that we see.

    So why?

EA knows that the 99% who see the 1% get good PACK LUCK, will think they can do it too. Increases the amount of money spent on points for kiddies to gamble away.

Packs are just stringing you along.

If people can’t see the positve reinforcement in UT in the form of so called rewards like receiving packs and coins, and the instant gratification from buying FP’s to immediately open packs to entice you to keep playing then it’s about time you did.

Just like a slot/poker machine with the nice symbols, happy music and near misses that just deny you a win. All tricking you into playing more in the hope that a win is around the corner.

And that flashy pack opening is just another step in reeling you in for more. The pack always give you that glimmer of (false) hope and that slim chance at getting that walkout and the Ronaldo, Messi or the Icon you are hoping for. You sometimes get a nibble with a high rated player every now and then but all this is doing is just letting you think something good might be around the corner.

And if you keep getting sucked in then it’s your own silly fault.

Surprised they haven't deleted this truthful post as EA like to hide or have no mentions about what's really going on.........

The free rewards they give out for daily objectives or logging into the web app are the equivalent of the free all you can eat buffet at a casino. It gets you in the door and keeps you there.
