Probably was a bit silly to put no Murray fans in the OP. He doesn't really have any proper fans...
True, just tennis 'fans' who only watch Wimbledon but still manage to be experts.

Going to have to pray Stan doesn't bottle it. Will be horrific to hear the crowd during a Novak vs Tsonga final.
Stan is better than Tsonga on clay TBH imo.

anyone who goes to a tennis match and cheers a double fault should be escorted out the stadium immediately. Disgraceful stuff.
you're part of the reason why modern tennis is an absolute travesty

    How does that work

I know he's won grand slams on different surfaces, but with his knees. Clay court is his only chnace of winning a grand slam

I agree. Fans of 'tradition', as they call it, are what has stopped the game from progressing in recent years, they're anti-change, even when it's for the better. They are to tennis what prawn sandwich-eaters are to voetbal.

Vast majority on clay. The play is slowed down. Plus the topspin bounce on clay is much higher compared to other surfaces

Nah, we need to keep stuff like flares, all standing stadiums and cheering double faults are things that belong in the past.

Pfft, I bet you're one of those **** who want to ban pints as well. It's every lads dream to go down to the local court, grab a pie, a pint and a flare and have a right old good time.

Should have been banned ages ago. Only tea and biscuits should be allowed inside the stadium imo. Maybe cheese and crackers as well, unsure of what to think of them though.

The sound of people biting into crackers might put the players off imo.

So there are maybe two players in the world above average. Genius.

Stan has been pretty amazing the last few games.
Hope he wins it, amazing guy.

He is above average, but he is just yet another one of those guys who looks to be able to win multiple Grand Slams and pretty much fails to deliver for whatever reason. He has peaked far too late in his career for me to rate him that highly either, as I remember how useless he can be.
