If he does go on to win, it will be a shallow victory. The commotion after that incident gave Nishikori a chance to get back on track mentally and threw Tsonga out of his rhythm. A potentially good match marred by controversy.

I too am in favour of the 'No Murray fans allowed' movement. It's the right thing to do.

Even these expert commentators commenting on how Tsonga was thrown by the TV screen mishap. It all points to foul play from the Nishikori camp.

how dare you suggest such a thing. Kei and Chang are lovely and wouldn't even consider doing anything that is wrong.

Haha yeah, of course. To borrow a quote from Shakespeare 'Look like th' innocent flower,
But be the serpent under ’t.'. That's how Nishikori and his cronies have fooled you. It's simple stuff, really.

Good man Monkey. The greatest British sportsman of our generation does not deserve the contempt shown for him in this thread.

I wouldn't expect you to be shock. The problem is that you're taking everything on face value here. There's always more to it.

Nishikori is so good, but his height and power won't allow him to win a grand slam. That's just my two cents

anyone who goes to a tennis match and cheers a double fault should be escorted out the stadium immediately. Disgraceful stuff.

What if said double fault wins the tournament for the opposing player.

Obviously that is acceptable, as the cheers are aimed towards a championship victory, and not actually the double fault.

Going to have to pray Stan doesn't bottle it. Will be horrific to hear the crowd during a Novak vs Tsonga final.

How would one be able to distinguish what said cheers were aimed towards accurately.

Probably was a bit silly to put no Murray fans in the OP. He doesn't really have any proper fans...
