Does Gareth Bale need to leave Real Madrid?

Sure he has a few La Liga and CL titles under his belt.

But there was a time when GB was considered to be the heir of the world's best player title. When he was considered to be better than Neymar. When he was hyped to the sun and back. When he was the best player in his league.

Since coming to Real Madrid, Bale has been overshadowed by Cristiano for the entire time. Worst of all he hasn't grown as a player. One would be tempted to believe had he stayed in England he would have been considered one of the world's best for many years now. The British press are great at hyping their product and a player like Bale would have been made out to be better than the likes of CR and Messi.

Now with Bale not being part of Real's plans and the Spanish side seeming like the best version of themselves ever, with the likes of Isco and Asensio being the future of the club, thing's don't look so good.

Bale leaving and going to either Manchester teams can instantly make them CL contenders. And he instantly puts himself back in the spotlight to be a future Balon winner and the world's best.

I don’t think he’s as good as he once was either tbh

You’ve missed out one major factor - injuries. The sole reason I wouldn’t want him at Utd.

That, and the fact that we’d have to offer De Gea in return.

He can have a Robben esque career.

Great talent who was always injured and never quite lived to his potential finding the right team and becoming the star.

He has just been injured....it has nothing to do with anything else.

Yes, at his age with his injury history and a club the size of real madrid they should cash in if they can because they can bring in other huge players that stay fit

They won’t be able to afford him, unless they sell Real Kane.

Its a bad deal for everyone...anyone that buys him is going to pay a ton to get an injury prone winger that is reliant on pace and not getting younger. Unless he moves to a bayern that has an easier league (compared to their level) and has dealt with injury prone wingers as they get older, he will struggle

The man is getting old fast:

In terms of "becoming the next best player in the world", Messi and Ronaldo are still alive and playing. At 28, it's understandable that the prime of his career is ending (it was an amazing prime though).

He should return back to the PL (where he'll instantly be one of the best players again), play another 5ish years, and then make $100 million playing 2 more seasons in China/MLS.

Dybala is easily the most over-rated player in the world, he is the new Veron.

Never shows up when he is needed.

He's loaded -why he can't get hair transplant ?

I mean if you can get this transition it's no brainer -is it?

Could be a decent sub for Mendy at Manchester City. When Mendy is fit.

Nah. When he's played, he's looked great, problem is, he's never fit. Packed on too much muscle too quickly and plays with a style of play that puts his body under a lot of stress and it just can't keep up.

He needs to focus on getting fit and change his style of play to put less pressure on his body. Ronaldo has had to do it because he's gotten older, Bale needs to do the same because he's made of wet tissue.

So many other footballers have had it as well e.g. berbatov, eriksen, fabregas, rooney, howedes, etc. Apparently the drug they take to maintain their hair that affects their performance negatively though.
