So Ill just write down my predictions and why I chose them. If you have any new potentional candidates I will update the league and maybe this can be a productive thread :D

I think this years league SBC players will be the ones that were heavily used last year, are also quite used this year and are from a popular nation. Highest rated player from the league is also an option.

PREDICTIONS

Premier League: Bailly, David SIlva, KDB, Aguero, Lukaku, Vardy, Martial, Son, Kane, Kante, Dembele

Bundesliga: Alaba, Boateng, Thiago, Reus, Aubameyang, Vidal, Lewandowski

Ligue 1: Cavani, Fekir, Mbappe, Thiago Silva, Dani Alves

PRO League: Dendoncker, Teodorczyk, Vormer, Vossen

MLS: Martinez, Kaka, Pirlo, Villa, Giovinco, Valeri

Serie A: Dybala, Higuain, Chiellini, Buffon, Bonucci, Florenzi, Nainggolan, Koulibaly, Manolas, Mertens, Gomez

La Liga: Suarez, Messi (unlikely), Modrić, Bale, Benzema, Ronaldo (unlikely), Ramos, Varane, Alba, Marcelo, Griezmann, Oblak

Eredivise: De Jong, Jorgensen, Toornstra, Ziyech, Guardado

For the Russian league and Liga NOS , after the leak not 100% confirmed but strong candidates: Promes, Casillas

Most people thought this years league SBC are based on most assists but so far that was proven wrong since Gignac wasnt Liga Bancomer assist leader, Quaresma wasnt Super Lig assist leader, Promes wasnt Russian leagues assist leader and I seriously doubt that Casillas was Liga NOS assist leader.

There is also a possibilty that they are infact picking players from teams that won the league last year. Tigres won in Mexico, Spartak in Russia, Besiktas in Turkey while Porto (Casillas) didnt win Liga NOS, Benfica did.

Dates when SBCs came out last year:
Liga NOS & MLS : From Launch
Ligue 1 & Pro Ligue: November 11th 2016 - Friday
Liga Bancomer MX & Super Lig: December 8th 2016
Eredivisie & Russian League: December 29th 2016 - Thursday
La Liga Santander & Scottish Premiership: February 7th 2017 - Tuesday
Calcio A & J1 League: March 2nd 2017 - Thursday
(BPL) Premier League & Dawry Jameel League: March 24th 2017
Bundesliga & EFL Championship: April 11th 2017

Teams to invest in:

Ligue1: Nantes, Lille (defenders, attackers), Strasbourg, Guingamp, Dijon, Caen, Troyes, ST Ettiene (backs, mids), Amien, Angers, Metz, Montpellier, Toulouse

Serie A: Spal, Benevento, Sampdoria (defenders), Cagliari, Crotone, Verona, Atalanta (backs), Bologna (defenders), Chievo (backs), Udinese (defenders, attackers), Sassuolo (defenders)

La Liga: Girona, Alaves, Leganes (attackers, defenders), Getafe

Bundesliga: Hannover, Freiburg

PRO League: Pretty much every team except Anderlecht, Brugge

MLS: Safe to invest in all clubs

Eredivise: All clubs

Opinions are welcome!

I’d love a Nainggolan SBC. Thinking Pirlo gets a hero one since he’s hanging it up at the end is MLS season. Can’t wait for that card!

Nainggolan would be fantastic but like like I said, just speculations

Valeri is a strong candidate from mls, much as it pains me to say so.

It seems to be the highest rated player in the league who also played in the league last season.

Promes is joint highest, Casillas joint highest, Gignac is the highest and Quaresma is the 2nd highest after Pepe, who played for Real Madrid last year.

    So in the ‘Big 5’:

    EPL - Hazard/ De Gea
    Ligue 1 - Thiago Silva
    Bundesliga - Neuer
    Calcio A - Higuain
    La Liga - Ronaldo

I think all League SBC players will be 86 rated so you can cross off the higher rated players!

In other words, don’t invest in La Liga so I can get Ronaldo cheaply

  • a Ronaldo one would be well expensive unless prepared for well in advance, I'm just in the process of making every team in calico a, not sure if gonna be worth it yet or not

Yes. I’m not sure if Real would require an 87 or 86 rated squad. Barca either 85 or 86 (would require Suarez for an 86) and Atletico either an 84 or 85.

Think there's close to no chance they're releasing the highest rated players from every league. From all the smaller leagues it's a good possibility but an if ronaldo from a league SBC, unlikely.
