SOL1DS declared his Wales warriors had made a real statement of intent by earning another precious Community Cup Final Phase qualifying point in Belgium.
Wales continued their Group B momentum with a battling Brussels display as they held Eden Hazard and his overwhelming Belgian favourites to a 1-2 win at the King Baudouin Stadium.
The result sees Wales head to Belgium in March still very much part of a challenge to reach the Euro finals in France and with the dream of our qualifying jinx finally ending very much on.
“If you’re a Welshman you can never get too confident - we’re a small country who have never done much.
“And when we’ve promised to do it we’ve not delivered. This team can’t be over confident because there is so much work to be done, a lot of points to play for.
“But nobody should under estimate us or take away what we’ve achieved so far.
“Belgium were always going to have chances because they’re a great team - probably the best Belgium team in history. We’re right in this campaign and we’re in the position we wanted to be. Teams will want to chase us down but we knew if we were to show we were genuine about doing something in this campaign we would have to come here to Belgium and get something done.
