Goalkeepers

I think it's fair to say they are the most useless they have ever been? It's rare that they make a save. It doesn't really matter what type of shot I or my opponent goes for, it just goes in 9/10. Low-drivens anywhere in the box, directed towards either corner go in for me 90% of the time. When it comes to crossing, slow headers (ones that bounce before going towards goal) make the keepers flop back and starfish lol..

I'm guessing EA are going to address this fairly soon? As much as I love scoring loads of goals, it's not very rewarding when the keeper should be saving the majority of them

I would enjoy it now. Whoever has more shots on goal will win more. After the patch it will be back to losing with 25 shots on goal.

Tbh it is quite fun until you're on the receiving end of it! I think the fact we're all adjusting to the defending plays a part too mind

Patch will also bring back ptb because people will rely on the keepers like last year.

Guys.... during early access it was even worse. It seems they have recently adjusted some sliders and the GKs are better than they were a few days ago. But I think everyone is going to have to get used to not playing with a super human Butland. This year the Keeper stats seem to pretty accurately reflect their in-game performance Neuer & De Gea > Cech > Schmeichel > Butland.

I've played against pretty much all the top tier goalies in the draft and they all struggle to save anything, low-drivens were great last year but this year they're bordering on broken, I don't think I've missed many..plus the flop they do from really slow downward headers seems to affect most keepers

Last year the keepers were spot on, you had to work for your goals. They are a joke this year the only save I’ve seen them make is rushing out with Y. Keepers like last year and passing like 16 and we have a very good game

I agree with that, I didn't think they were particularly OP last year like some say they were. I'd much rather the keeper actually make some saves
