Cheers @XxRichiexRichxX for doing this ..

I personally think he should. I mean what more could he have done to warrant one? :D:)

Based on his years playing alongside Ronaldo I'd say its deserved.

He actually had pace, power and great technique once upon a time.

The Everton-pyjamas comment and the rumors that he wanted to move some years ago is annoying but ofcourse.

Top scorer, been a captain for us the last years and have been an amazing legend for us.
    He deserves it.

He definitely deserves one. He is their record goalscorer.

Not until he retires though. Can't do it while he's wearing an Everton shirt

Giggs is way ahead of him in my opinion. Not a Man Utd fan though.

As much as I've loved watching Rooney play for Utd, and appreciative of everything he's done and achieved, I also think there's more deserving

Let's admit: the man is a legend for MU! He did a lot for the club and fans . I think he deserves the right to be honored this way

Of course he should. He's their all time record scorer. Doesn't matter if he wasn't nessessarily their best player.

Bobby Moore's statue at Wembley defies your logic. I suppose we should replace him with a statue of Rooney there too.

Nah, many players ahead of him that deserve it.

Had he retired there it might have been a different answer.

First decent poll I've seen in a while :open_mouth: (shots fired!)

Some people say he's overrated which is fair enough, however he's their top scorer of all time, so of course he deserves something that highlights this either outside or inside the stadium.

Even tho I put this poll forward...it's got nothing on the judge Judy Vs judge Rinder poll....

I don't think he is overrated. At least not at club level. He has consistently scored goals throughout his club career. He got into double figures every season in the Prem all the way until 15/16 which is some achievement. He's behind only Alan Shearer in Premier League top scorers but you don't hear people saying Andy Cole, Lampard, Henry, Fowler etc. are overrated.

I think his international performances are what drags him down a bit as he hasn't really produced the goods at a major tournament since 2004.
