All I'm saying is barca (well technically la liga) had better watch their back!

What have they said that is incorrect?

Financially being back by a state is insane.

Who have PSG and city sold to balance the books? I don't think la liga needed to do anything. It's pretty clear those rules have been broken anyway. Imagine if city had also bought Sanchez.

Also, psg expected a backlash as they've put a clause in MBappe's deal that if they get relegated he won't sign, which let's face it will only happen if they get a huge point deduction

I think your forgeting city have sold over 80 million pounds worth and got a lot of high wage players of there books and spent 200m on 5 players think they will be more than ok with ffp

It's funny that this is coming from La Liga after the Neymar transfer to Barca and some other dodgy stuff.

    They are just salty.

It's not even just Barca that makes this laughable. Madrid are just as bad.

Why would they spent 200m sold over 80m

I know this whole state owned thing is confusing but Barca / Madrid have been backed by the Government for years.

Its just such BS that in a league that Barca and RM both have advantages from the Government / Royal Family.. to then go and complain about others doing it :joy:

Remember when La Liga wouldn't accept the Neymar money so Barca took it directly to get the deal done?

You can't be blaming Barca for something the league is doing.

This is farcical complaining about financial fair play when 2 clubs in Spain get the majority of TV money

Probably because balancing books requires more than just that, such as shirt sales and ticket sales. We all know city don't do ticket sales

Take these off, fella. It may be tough to accept, but City, as a club, generates enough money to be able to do whatever it wants in the transfer market now. Just like you.

    This.

    1. The ground is massive albeit they don't sell it out every game. But it still generates a lot of money.
    2. The BPL is the richest league where I think city were given in the region of £100m a season alone.
    3. Shirt sponsors
    4. Stadium sponsor
    5. Sleeve sponsors

All this tied in with sales of players. Also isn't ffp over a period of 3 years ?

So you could spend big 1 season and less then next?

Either way. City are in the clear.

ya, 3 year period so it gives the clubs enough time to sell players to balance the books. whats happening right now is barca and real are pissed because PSG and LFC have taken a few of there players and refused to sell players to them so there enraged. the players of notice are, coutinho, neymar, mBappe.... so they made EUFA put out a statement just to make them feel a little better but you cant punish clubs for FPP if they have even been given the chance to comply with it yet. The other reason for this is that theres rumblings behind the scenes that messi is considering signing with city when hes deal is up. LaLiga is in panic right now and its showing straight from the top.

Etihad are sponsored by the owners though aren't they? They can chuck in as much money as they like to get around any fair play rules.
