Messi the player with the most goals in 2017
    Most assists
    Most dribblings
    Most chances created

Player with the most goals for a single club
Messi has scored more Classico Goals at the Santiago Bernaleo than any other player including Real Madrid players like Di Stefano and Raul aka he owns this place.

Messi assisted the 3rd goal today against Real Madrid with only 1 shoe cause he lost it somewhere before that.

    HE ONLY HAD 1 SHOE

Today he created 9 clearcut chances - The most in a single game this season in LaLiga

But hey give the Balondor to a guy who hit air and cried half of the game LOL
    But soon...Faroe Islands are back!

In what planet is Ronaldo actually better than Messi. I mean honestly

Who even cares about that prize, it is just a popularity contest. If Messi doesn't win it is just a joke.

You've to remember that Messi has been stat padding in a weak league for five years more than Ronaldo, while the GOAT proved his brilliance in the premier league.

IMO that's why Messi is ahead of everyone to ever play, he can match up against the likes of CR7, Pele, R9 for goals and yet be just as good as creating them.

Could he do it on a cold windy night against Stoke?
    Ronaldo > Messi

You shouldn't make assumptions, that question can't be answered. The fact is we will never know, PL is more competitive than la liga.

Barcelona deserve it, definitely the more composed side, but I do find Suarez really hard to watch at times.

All he does is being offside, missing sitters and bumping into opponents

He scored a goal you ****

Roberto has improved a lot.. still have some doubts over him as an out and out right back but he has done well.

He's a pretty terrible RB. He's decent on the ball but can't defend 1v1 against decent players (or even Ronaldo) and he's marking can be poor sometimes as well. He can probably do a better job than Rakitic because he isn't as afraid to try and beat his man.

He's a very good squad player but shouldn't be more than a backup. Semedo is better at RB

He doesn’t belong at right back. He could do so much damage in MF but instead Valverde decides to see him as an out and out right back and I have no idea why

He plays Roberto because Varverde seems to have little faith in Semedo unfortunately.

Should have scored a hattrick you ****
That goal from him was also a poor shot, DDG / Ter Stegen would have saved it
  • no one ever mentions Valverde

    - switching to a 442
    - showing faith in Sergio Roberto, Paco, Vermaelen
    - downplaying political significance in both the Atletico and Real visits (much more important than most think)
    - Dealing with a very annoying board and press amidst their preseason "crisis"

I had my doubts, but his in-game adjustments this season and balance he has created are all part of their great start. Hope he can keep it up

    merry xmas too

Last Classico made me realize that in a couple years we won't have Ronaldo vs Messi. No just in terms of ability, sure Jesus vs Mbappe could become a thing, but we won't have two great players with such polarizing personas on rival teams in awhile

Will be sad when all this drama ends, but a hoot the last few years following this
