So with WC matches on his belt. Do you think Betancur will be a key player or valuable resale asset for Juve?
Also, how do you guys feel about Japan getting revenge from 2014's defeat to Colombia. All of South America is outraged and pissed that they lost to a lesser opponent. Well maybe they shouldn;t stick their hands out....

Bentancur reminds me of a younger Pirlo, how he can find space anywhere and just pick good passes but also has some pace and the ability to move.

Not a Juve fan but I still don't see him becoming a key player just yet, not with Pjanic and others in the team, maybe in a couple years if they can be patient with him and continue to slowly ease him into the team, otherwise, they'll sell him off.

Had to edit that, typing when tired is hard.

The thing is... I've never heard of Zaniolo before.
Pinamonti, sometimes, given how he played a couple of matches in the senior squad.
    But Zaniolo, nope...
It's hard to judge youth players when they play in youth matches, though. It only counts when they play in the senior squad.

    @L_immortale, it's getting worse!
So apparently you're going to get some cash for Radja (a paltry sum, maybe 20-22 million), plus Zaniolo (a youngster), and...
    SANTON. :joy:
Though Sportitalia reported it, so you might have to take it with a pinch of salt, and frankly I can't believe that will happen.
    But still. :D

We are paying 16m for Zanolio before June 30. Inter are paying 40m for Nainggolan after June 30. 40m profit for Nainggolan might be enough to hold onto Alisson. Zanolio is apparently very highly rated.

Well, considering everything, you'll be getting 24 million out of the whole deal (assuming Santon is free).

@Alemas_2012 So after Emre Can who else will we get in midfield?

    Milinkovic-Savic? Golovin? Both? None?

I think Sturaro and Marchisio might leave...possibly even Khedira.

I think Khedira is getting a new contract. I have no problem with that. He just shouldn’t play as much. Milinkovic-Savic should definitely be a Juve player. He will offer a bit of what we lost with Pogba and Vidal. Golovin looks very promising. I would love to see Kovacic join as well. But I don’t feel good about Pjanic leaving. Allegri is really slow to integrate new players and Pjanic is fundamental for the midfield. Ideally, Kovacic signs as a back up. Maybe, Barcelona could give us Rakitic in exchange but I think we would lose on that deal.

Golovin's way more likely than Milinkovic-Savic.
Hope only Sturaro leaves, the other two make for decent backup.

I think he's a great player, tbh. Juventus have done well to sign him, for sure.

So we paid 16 million in "commissions" for him.
Can he still be considered a free signing?

There's a certain degree of irony in Roma finally getting rid of Bruno Peres but also getting Santon from Inter.
One terrible fullback out, another terrible fullback in.

    By the man himself.
Even though he hates Juve and I really don't like his attitude, I can't help but feel sorry for him for being sent out like that.

The fact I nickname him "Bambi" should tell you everything.
    You can have him.

One look at his frame should give you the answer. Is that the physique of a real central defender?
Not only that, most of the time he doesn't know what to do with the ball.
He's definitely not as good as everyone's saying he is.

It's not as if Bonucci is massive, for example. Rugani just isn't great, being weak is far from his only problem.

I swear Bonucci still has more muscle than Rugani. Rugani's simply a skeleton.

    It's like a .01 BMI difference, lol.

Just realised that by next season the Serie A might very well lose its TIM title sponsorship.
The fact that the recently-leaked match ball shows a TIM-less Serie A logo leads me to believe they didn't renew the contract.

Nah, I spent a whole year trying to build a couple of squads I was happy with, only to quit when I finally did it.

Looks like the owners of the Chicago Cubs are interested in buying Milan.
  • And then Milan doesn't win anything for 71 years.

Nah, they'll win the Supercup in Qatar.
