So let's actually think about it. It's called FUT, Fifa Ultimate Team where you're supposed to build your ultimate team.
So in theory there should be no chemistry and you should be able to play whoever, wherever without repercussions, however, we've always had chemistry in FUT. People have been hinting at them removing it, but do we really believe that's a good idea? Think about it. Everyone links to everyone

There has to be some kind of extra element to the team building imo. I'd actually like chem to be taken much further to the point that cards off-chem should play ALOT worse.

I'v always got like 3 teams by the end of the year.
Consider how this would effect SBC's. Would make them all very easy
And no chem means what for chem styles/managers
Only very little sbcs require a lot of chem, most have been around 30-60 all year with a few exceptions.
They can make em hard with requirements alone should they wish to
Chem styles are one of the worst additions to the game, whats the point if you can have 87 pace 92 defending smalling for 8k?
They can make managers give different boosts or even do stuff like increasing match coins you get after games.
Yea but if chem doesn't matter then it'll effect a lot of the league SBC's as you can just throw any player in any position with no drawback. And then the same for any ones that involve full national teams for the likes of Legend SBC's
This. I mean its cool and all if chemistry actually mattered. I cannot stand playing against a team with horrible chem, and yet it seems like it makes no difference they play just as good if not better. And then I feel like im the one being punished when I have a full chem team like your suppose to lol
Take away chem styles. Managers add small boosts depending on their style of play (Guardiola +1 PAS +1 PAC, Mourinho -2 PAC +6 Fellaini)

More freedom with position cards would be a better alternative than just scrapping the whole system.
