Why does PES Demo graphics look awful zoomed out but clear in cut scenes/highlights?
That's PES. Faces and graphics in general are amazing during those cut scenes and replays, but then the actual match starts and it looks like Fifa 08. They probably use two different engines for each part Don't know why people look at cut scenes when the actual game play is what matters in terms of graphics.
Makes no sense I would rather it looked better while I was playing the game not on cut scenes not a bad game just looks out dated and defending is still awful

Defending, shooting let the game down, they're outdated.
PES actually feels like you're playing a football game, FIFA to me just doesn't. You can literally do things on PES that are impossible to do on FIFA. And that's why I've cancelled my FIFA pre-order and I'm moving to PES this year.
To be honest the only people commenting on this thread should be those who have played PES and FIFA both online and offline in the past.
Which will be the majority then, seeing as parts of PES are made free-to-play throughout the years.
I'm not sure, I don't think anyone under a certain age will have ever touched PES, most probably play the demo for a few minutes already expecting to hate the game.
Then dont comment, and ignore ,simple enough.

And no, i have no dragon ball to watch now, its every sunday, and my teeth are good, no need for dentures atm.
If you have teeth problems at your age(i guess you are around 20ish), or think when you reach my age you will have no teeth , then you seriously doing something wrong m8, you better have a hard look at yourself before you criticize someone you dont even know

From what I saw in demo, PES did not improve enough gameplay wise to be worth extra 40 EUR (to be honest PC version should have got and upgrade ages ago, and I do not care about 3v3 possibility...so for offline ML 17 will do, my club did not really work for me, even if I did get few legends last season...preorder cancelled.
I personally feel PES took a small step backwards when they stopped doing Master League Online. I feel it would appeal to more people if they could buy players they wanted and not just balls/spins to get players at random.
Hi m8 i had pes 14. I was wondering what was the mode where you have to get a certain number of points from about four games then top 16 qualify for a cup? It was something like that.
Online competitions in MyLeague/MyClub mode. Play about an hour of 'qualifying' games and the top 16 do into next stages. Points get taken from the best 3 games in succession. That what you mean?

Truth is that it wont even be mainly the gameplay that brings you back, the menu screens turn out to be very grim while waiting 5 minutes for a match, overall off the pitch its a very poor and cheap feel to the game.

I usually play both but I may wait until Christmas sales to buy PES this year. I find fun in both games like yourself and I do think PES is fun in small spells. I actually enjoy the Sim competitions in MyClub. I've seen PES improve little by little and being a PES fan for years, I think i'll always end up with both games at some point.

See someone like yourself who has and does play both games, I respect and appreciate your opinion. And you're probably right I will be back at some point.
I just feel like I need something different from FIFA as it drives me crazy and I've no motivation to play it anymore. Actually excited to get my hands on PES next week, whether that excitement lasts is a completely different matter of course.
Power bar is pointless to as you only get to use 10% 60% 100% unlike fifa you can use all the bar
Maybe you pressing wrong m8, pes has it set very sensetive, i can get the power bar at any % i want on pes.
Pre ordered the barca edition yesterday together with destiny.
Thats my point to sensetive you either hit it with no power the right power or over the bar. There is no in between like fifa where you have to get the right power or keeper will save it with ease

I do the same, I just find PES more fun and relaxing I guess, FUT online is just not a fun game at times and the variety in teams, play styles and tactics is lacking.
SBC, making coins, packs, special players are the things that keep me going back to FUT, without that I would probably try to master PES.

Demo is only 1080p, although it still looks great on my TV.

Maybe you pressing wrong m8, pes has it set very sensetive, i can get the power bar at any % i want on pes.
